I'm going to make some bold, broad eating habits statements about nearly everyone (average person or athlete): - don't consume enough protein - don't drink enough plain old water - too many carbs relative to protein intake - should probably be taking a daily multivitamin (because the base diet isn't providing a broad enough spectrum of nutrients) - far more afraid of fat content than they should be* *too many foods "reduce fat" by adding in carbs and sugars --> not a good trade

Yup. Heck, you could even keep the "MVFC" name as a DBA. Officially it is Summit League football; but call it, trade name it, the "MVFC". The MVFC webpage would redirect to the Summit league FB page.

I just realized there a wholly simple solution: Disband the MVFC. Yes, disband the MVFC. Before heads explode ... Reform it in the Summit League by having the Summit offer football as a sponsored sport: Full members (2020): UND, NDSU, USD, SDSU, WIU Affilitates: UNI*, ISU*, ISU*, SIU*, MoSU*, YSU Done. The Summit would offer FB and MBB and secure their MBB autobid. And this does zero damage to the MVC as the MVFC is not the MVC. The MVC has enough sports and teams that their MBB autobid is in no jeopardy. The Summit and MVC both keep MBB autobids (aka NCAA money). And the "Summit FB" champ would get an FCS FB bid (the old MVFC bid). *MVC members.

That sums up why Douple terrifies me right now. He seems to have no vision beyond his nose.

You mean like the B1G (10/14 fit my template and if you give me Indiana U it's 11) or the PAC12 (9/12, it's 10 if you give me UCLA)? When like schools align they get stronger and stay aligned. In this "Big North" concept (and this really, really hurts to say), Denver would be our "Northwestern" or "Stanford": high-end pricey, solid academics, and private to make conference meetings not subject to open records.
