Actually, no. UND can't flip the PWR with Duluth no matter what this season. The old 0-4 against a team will do that to you. All that said, win the next six and the PWR is rather inconsequential.

If you go down and writhe like you've been nearly terminally maimed, you should be sitting on the bench while the offender serves the duration of the penalty. Concussion protocols and all and such. Safety first.

That's a key part of "game manager" -- consistency.

Tall. QB. -- I smell WR.

With a stout defense and a quality running game you need a game manager more so than a gunslinger at QB.

How about Target Center buy a better insulation layer for between the ice surface and the court and not have the issue. I know these guys in Fargo make a good product (and I'm pretty sure it's what's used in REA).

The Caggiula goal (video above): Yes, contact with an official. And a penalty should've been called. TWO MINUTES, ELBOWING, on the referee! More seriously, the official could've called an "unsportsmanlike" minor on Stecher for touching him (re-watch the video). I'm pretty sure the official let it go because it was not malicious and seemed intended to relay good nature and concern for the official.

I've slept on it. I'm tempted to say that's worth a third game (disrespecting an official who's told you to get into the box TWICE already).

Now that I've seen it ... that was a willful shove targeting an official. And it was followed by continued "yapping" after the whistle after the shove. Now the NCHC will show how important protecting its officials really is.

There are five "game threes" happening tonight. Do any have any effect on UND's PWR? My thought is maybe BSU so I'm glad they won.

I was looking for college hockey on TV last night (there was Minn/Mich but that's just the B1G , and it wasn't much of a game) so I flipped over to Midco and watched Oo-whee-poo-whee and NDSU. IUPUI just bottled NDSU up with defense and I think I saw NDSU get one rebound in the last 15 minutes of the game. And NDSU couldn't throw it into the ocean. They were missing lay-ups. I almost felt badly for them ... almost. .

Speculating about Jones at this point is just that. Why? Because if a season is just a day ... well, tell 'em Curly.
