No photos, that way you don't know what I look like. I don't want to end up like Tupac or Biggie Smalls. But, here is the flash back rap attack thread, and it really is from that long ago ...

That is true.

NORTH DAKOTA @ WMU - SATURDAY Gameday ********
The Sicatoka replied to AZSIOUX's topic in Men's Hockey
How many guys from last year's team are in the NHL right now? How many guys from this year's team will be playing in the NHL a year from now? Last year's freshmen weren't asked to do all the much because of all the talent around them. Between those 11 now sophomores and 8 freshmen, yeah, you see a team that looks flustered at times. -

Good grief. Look at his methodology: He puts in the current regular season winner as a proxy for the post-season tournament champion. He needs a placeholder for the slot. As I said, I don't see BC wining that nor do I see UND winning its post-season tourney. Moy could just as easily say the highest PWR team is in as the current regular season leader. -
... no dog in the fight. I wish WF had made it for just one reason: I could go back to my Pack Attack "8 Mile" rap persona. Wurd.

But the seeding isn't done right now. BC is as likely right now to win the HEA auto bid as UND is to win the NCHC's. -

I figure 16 and 15 are autobids so 14 is as low as you dare go. -

Current PWR says you're mistaken. It also says all the margin is used up. -

About 125 hours. They dug themselves an ugly hole. If they play with the must win mindset now successfully they'll have given themselves some cushion, some margin, or if not successfully they'll be in it for real. -
I do believe that was a maxima, yes. The question is if this minima is due to that, or is the natural following minima because the Schmaltz maxima was the answer to the prior minima. Either way, this is a minima. It will get better sooner or later.

The law of averages or the Central Limit Theorem will always find its way.

This team doesn't have the top end talent like others of the past five years. Normally I'm wondering who the seventh forward is (the guy ready to jump into the top six). This year I can't find the fifth. What would Luke Johnson or Keaton Thomson on D do for this team this season? But, all that aside: You play the hand you're dealt. This team had the "2016 Champs" bullseye on their backs all season. They've been getting the other team's best game. Now they're being left for dead. I'm actually good with that. Look past this team. That's the one advantage, break, they could use right now. -
February is not the month to burn up all your puck luck.

Not gonna happen. To do that you have to win more than one in a row against teams ranked higher than you. Not gonna happen.

Santiago can run and catch. He's not an NFL back. Is he an NFL returner and slot guy? We'll see.

NDUS Budget Cuts (changed name to be system-wide)
The Sicatoka replied to Cratter's topic in Community
The Legacy Fund is State money. There's no guarantee where it'd be spent. They could send it to roads or human services. And when that money is gone, what then? Next, please, read the forum guidelines that you agreed to when you signed up: No politics. Signed, The Management -

The wildcard in this is ... facilities. What does UND own? What costs UND the least? What does UND own that may need near-term repairs or upgrades? -

To me, this singular statement, which I tracked down for myself and found to be true, namely, is damning for women's hockey. If they we're "covering" half the REA expense I could see them running $1.4 million in the red. They're $1.4 million in the red not covering their half ($1.1 million) of REA. Men's ice hockey covers all the facilities costs for REA which is used by them, WIH, MBB, WBB, VB, and soccer (locker space). -
I just don't see "Brian Faison" and "social media savvy" being used in the same sentence, other than this one.

That's not what I said. Football is going nowhere. However, allow it to be evaluated right now. It'll show it's a better "net" than most of the rest and it should quiet the noise from some quarters. -

The Summit requires MBB and WBB. Men's hockey is not being cut.
