Mentioning "new jerseys" ... no leaked photos yet?

I'm going to make some bold, broad eating habits statements about nearly everyone (average person or athlete): - don't consume enough protein - don't drink enough plain old water - too many carbs relative to protein intake - should probably be taking a daily multivitamin (because the base diet isn't providing a broad enough spectrum of nutrients) - far more afraid of fat content than they should be* *too many foods "reduce fat" by adding in carbs and sugars --> not a good trade

It would be mind-boggling to win the conference's four premiere spectator sport titles and not win the President's Cup.

I remember an article a while back where Mac Schneider (2000 team center) said he'd mow down 10,000 calories to maintain his weight during the season. That's roughly 11 ... dozen ... eggs.

The buildings scheduled for demolition this summer (per Herald article) are: 314 Cambridge Strinden Center 2912 University Avenue 317 Cambridge Era Bell Thompson Center International Center Women's Center Chandler Hall, which was built in pieces and contains the oldest structure on the UND campus, is the last building scheduled for demolition and is expected to be taken down next summer. I see those structures and between age, type, occupancy, and the 1997 flood, the buildings can not be in a good way. Clean them out.

The answers to all of your questions are in the article you linked to. This will actually save money. Why? These are non-producing, net-negative assets. They cost to operating and maintain but are no longer useful. Taxpayers should be applauding this move.

" ... carefully planned out ... " is a bit strong for me. A vision. A dream. Something that if opportunities presented, it was edged towards, sure.

So you backed out on the deal? So what ya gonna do with that half-billion bucks burnin' a hole in your pocket now?

Can not confirm; however, such an alignment would not surprise me. It's all about who has the best connections and lobbyists to get the laws written in their favor. In this case: the distributors.
-
From SV's link: Step up is going to mean leaving the 10-hours away Summit behind and competing with regional peers. (See article.)
-
Yup. If they announced today, they'd be a DI member on June 1, 2022.
-
Yup. Heck, you could even keep the "MVFC" name as a DBA. Officially it is Summit League football; but call it, trade name it, the "MVFC". The MVFC webpage would redirect to the Summit league FB page.
-
I just realized there a wholly simple solution: Disband the MVFC. Yes, disband the MVFC. Before heads explode ... Reform it in the Summit League by having the Summit offer football as a sponsored sport: Full members (2020): UND, NDSU, USD, SDSU, WIU Affilitates: UNI*, ISU*, ISU*, SIU*, MoSU*, YSU Done. The Summit would offer FB and MBB and secure their MBB autobid. And this does zero damage to the MVC as the MVFC is not the MVC. The MVC has enough sports and teams that their MBB autobid is in no jeopardy. The Summit and MVC both keep MBB autobids (aka NCAA money). And the "Summit FB" champ would get an FCS FB bid (the old MVFC bid). *MVC members.

That sums up why Douple terrifies me right now. He seems to have no vision beyond his nose.

Why would NoCo want to move their baseball north? I don't seem NoCo moving out of a predominantly south baseball league unless they have to (meaning WAC folds). WAC baseball Summit baseball

Race-based. Stereotypic. Got it.

You mean like the B1G (10/14 fit my template and if you give me Indiana U it's 11) or the PAC12 (9/12, it's 10 if you give me UCLA)? When like schools align they get stronger and stay aligned. In this "Big North" concept (and this really, really hurts to say), Denver would be our "Northwestern" or "Stanford": high-end pricey, solid academics, and private to make conference meetings not subject to open records.
