I'm a tad confused ... NDSU plays say 8 home FB game at 20k tix per --> 160k UND plays say 20 home MIH game at 12k tix per --> 240k With that UND lead in primary gate sports, how is NDSU claiming more tix sold? Is NDSU really selling that many more hoop stubs? Really?

Vade cum Deo.

Needed a name -- thought is was Kuksa; it was Arnell.

In Fargodome, probably a decade ago by now, a UND safety was hit in the back of the legs by an NDSU player unnecessarily. It was a pure blind clip. It ended a career. Help me out with a name, and better, the video showing the iffy hit.

USU: Total implosion after 1st quarter (UND lost 2nd, 3rd, 4th qtrs by 41-3) NDSU: the fourth down call (could've said general clock management) SIU: No real alternative as FG kicker? Really? There's a backup at every other position. Western: No clue it was 4th not 1st down after Otis run at end of 1st half with seconds left inside the 10 MoiSt: Play calling when up 11 and six to play

Requiem aeternam dona ei, Domine, et lux perpetua luceat ei. Requiescat in pace. Amen.

That's why I asked if the vax-fired WasSU coach had a fully guaranteed contract ... including if he took another job after termination.

The < lost in transmission > you say.

My problem with 3x3: Does basketball go 3x3 in OT? In hoop 3x3 is considered a completely different game. Why are we playing a different game to decide the outcome of the first?

You can't see Judd Caulfield scored 18:10 into the first in this? https://fightinghawks.com/sports/mens-ice-hockey/stats/2021-22/penn-state/boxscore/12179

My head went to 6-2 (L to USU and NDSU). I say USU because of their WR speed and NDSU because I believe their staff went hyper-conservative on offense when they saw their defense had control of the game (see: ten points) and didn't want or need to put much on film for their future opponents. Then again, a Saban staff might have found a way to grab one of those two games.

I hate having to say it.

Assuming @MinnesotaNorthStarhere is the same person as on USCHO, and I do believe this to be the case based on his registration here, I have terrible news. Apparently he passed away due to a heart condition. Requiescat in pace MNS.

Can we do a real search where "while at UND" is not a de facto requirement on the resume? Or if that requirement will always be ... an option.

Money (new FBS TV deal and expanded FBS playoff all coming in 2025) makes schools and conferences do curious things.

People are moving south out of the old "rust belt". Those areas of KY and TN are getting a lot of those transplants.

One more thought: Time and again I've said it takes 30 points ante to win a MVFC game. If your plan isn't to do 30+ don't get on the bus.

Intelligence only works on other intelligence. The AI found none to connect with inside the referee's helmet.

Missed this rumor: Middle Tennessee State and Western Kentucky are claimed going to the MAC. That would kick C-USA down to three (FIU, LaTech, UTEP). C-USA would need the four (Liberty, NMSU, SHSU, Jacksonville State) just to maintain a pulse. Under that (C-USA 3 + 4) scenario, C-USA almost has to figure out how to get back to a viable number. A northern branch of seven or so to make 14 in the conference would get C-USA off life support.

Someone said conference losses of 6, 7, 3, and 4. The players were close but not prepared completely. Frankly ... that is on the coaches. Yes, yes it is.
-
Between the fourth down in your own end call v. NDSU, the continual lack of clock management, the terrible situational awareness (not realizing it's 4th down in the last home game), and this disaster, ... It's time to move on, because the game has moved on from the head coach.

Jerseys? Terrible. They look dirty. Nike Black Ice where are you ... Team? Give a two-goal lead again. How about show up from the start! You won't have to chase the whole time. The team I saw Saturday night looked like a team with new faces and little chemistry yet: passes don't land, little touches are off speed or not expected. And no one goes to the net. All that screams out as a team that needs to gel and find an identity. Add in a very quick PSU team that seems to have scouted UND's standard plays very well and it's not a great formula for a young team.

The Sicatoka is not real; it is an artificial intelligence, so it is and was everywhere ...

About as many as you see on those current Tue/Thu football games.
