PCM won't admit it in public, but he just recently took down his "Ryan Sofie" website and replaced it with one dedicated to Mapletoft.

Again, a signing is a business deal: you need a buyer and a seller. I'm guessing Buffalo (Vanek) and Phoenix (Ballard) aren't looking to buy until after a new NHL CBA is in place and (presumably) rookie "prices" go down. Alternatively, and unlike Buffalo and Phoenix, New Jersey is in the playoffs, has cash available, and saw a guy they have rights to that they believe can help them right now. Thus, NJD was a buyer in the market.

Genoway centered Bochenski from 12/27/03 to 1/24/04. The Sioux went 7-1-2 during that stretch. Bochenski had a 10-6-16 line and Genoway had a 1-11-12 line during those 10 games. Fylling played three games with them and went 1-2-3; Porter played the other seven and went 3-2-5. So, during those ten games with Genoway at center with Bochenski, the line produced 15 goals in 10 games. Colby can do the job.

Brady Murray played center at Salmon Arm (when he was the runner up for both league ROY and MVP).

Riddle and Big Potulny too? Oh, please-please-please-please! I'd love to see the NCAA response, and sanctions, to that.

If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle. -- Sun Tzu

The judge put a gag order on the Sjodin case. Meanwhile, now a University of Wisconsin student has gone missing.

UND is losing seniors Lundbohm, Hale, and Palmiscno plus underclassman NHL signee Parise. Minnesota is losing seniors Koalska, Riddle, Grant Potulny, and Waibel. With those four Minnesota is losing 28 more points (15 more goals) from last season than UND is, plus, Minnesota is losing their two-year captain. (They also lose Joey Martin.) Now, which other players were you considering that Minnesota may lose?

And if you knew what Wes Dorey lived through in college you'd clam up too.

A signing is a business deal. In any business deal it takes a willing buyer with money to spend and a willing seller with wares for purchase. (Ralph Engelstad School of Business Course Number 100.) NJD and Zach were a match right now. I'm not sure about the other teams' situations.

You'd be better served to remind the Bison of that. The Sioux aren't playing any NAIAs next season.
-
I've resisted the temptation a long time. I heard a lot of "UM-Crookston" over time. I can't take it any more. One shot, just one, and I'm done with it. Montana Tech? NAIA, Dak-10-caliber Montana Tech? Were Moorhead Tech and St. Cloud Tech unavailable? OK, I'm done with it.

PCM tried once. Let's try again. Believe it or not, there is more to life than hockey.

Forgive me for being blunt: - Forget cycling the puck low on an Olympic rink (you're too far from the net) - Forget who's in the other jerseys - Forget who's standing in their crease and their stats (he's human) - Forget whatever their game plan is (it won't matter) Sioux hockey is: - strong defense - speed-based puck pursuit - puck control to generate offense. Play Sioux Hockey. Other than defense, I didn't see Sioux Hockey this weekend.

Please refer to him correctly as: "The Virg" That is all. Thank you. Signed, The Sicatoka

Oh woe is us. What ever will we do if Pat reaches his goal and gets his million?
-
I just had someone try to tell me that - Zach's potential departure, and - not going to Boston for the Frozen Four is all Jordan Parise's fault. Forgive me, but Jordan Parise's line for the weekend was 1 goal allowed. If you would have told me "one goal allowed" on Thursday I would have taken it in a heartbeat. This weekend, it wasn't goaltending it wasn't defense it was lack of offense. Where were Lundbohm, Genoway, Stafford, Murray, Fylling, and all the rest? Forget about who may be standing there. Shoot the puck at the net.

(Goodness, I'm about to agree with a Gopher fan!) Maybe, just maybe, we'll get a team of 20 guys on the ice each night all working for a victory and all knowing that they must contribute every night. It's amazing how different you play when you know there's no one to 'save the bacon' but you. Skate.
-
Oh boo-hoo, look at what we lose. Yeah, we're loosing a great player and citizen early. Most regretable. But most of us figured we'd get two years at most from him at the beginning. I'm looking at what we have. I'm looking at what level of expectations will they set for themselves now. I see a group of guys that have something to prove: that they weren't all about one guy. I smell the distinct odor of March 1999. Dear Brandon Bochenski, Are you better than Lee Goren? I think you are. I'm pretty sure of it. And you've got all the same components of supporting cast that Lee did too. Prove me right in 379 days. Signed, The Sicatoka

Dump the league tournament and you are two weekends closer to actually playing a full league schedule (everyone twice road, twice home).
-
The ironic thing I find about this right now is the following: Based on what I saw on television from Colorado Springs this past weekend, the best player on the ice for UND had "Parise" on the back of his jersey, but only one "1" below it.
-
WYO, You miss understand. The "good guys in green" play this weekend in Colorado Springs. The other guys in green, eh, no matter.
-
Hey WYO, Driving down to Colorado Springs to cheer for the good guys in green for a weekend? I won't tell 'tony' so he won't revoke your Bisonville rights.

Interesting pattern here: 2002 BCHL Interior Division MVP: Mike Prpich 2003 BCHL Interior Division MVP runner-up: Brady Murray 2004 BCHL Interior Division MVP: Travis Zajac
