  1. Noteworthy exception: BoSox fans.
  2. She's been competition ready for NCIKL events twice. June 2000 was the second time. And too bad that you got turned down for the CIWSC (Collegiate Indoor Waterskiing Conference) that second time due to 12 feet of water. You were good the first time with just 8 feet, but they want at least two soundings. (They figured you were trying to cut water chop with greater depth the second time. ) If sulfates were the issue, and you dumped to the Red, I'm telling the Manitoba premier.
  3. Under the B, ... 2, B-2. <-- In that case you have to say "Bingo!" very stealthily.
  4. Don't kid yourself. That'll come right after. It won't matter that the same symbols are used by the indigenous peoples of this region. And on that thought .... 'PCM' was trying to point out a subtle nuance in this: No black person ever used the Rebel stars and bars to represent themself (I believe). That symbol was used to oppress blacks. But once the NCAA 'does' SoCar, people will forget that subtle, yet critically key, nuance and just keep choppin' away at symbols that some folks say they don't like. Thus, I predict the NCAA will come after the ND Highway Patrol's car doors featuring Red Tomahawk (even though Red Tomahawk's decendants support the NDHP).
  5. Is that the same league for indoor watersports that NDSU is in? I know NDSU has had a major domed facility filled with water twice in the past. Is an NCIKL meet why that was? Will that score big with Douple and the Mid-Con?
  6. Couldn't this be put under that same "speculation" heading that Sioux fans are so accused of lately?
  7. Q: "DID YOU MISS ME?" A: No, but I didn't throw anything at you ... yet.
  8. Boese? Soccer? What position?
  9. Anyone but you would be able to. ;)
  10. Sw-w-w-wee-e-e-e-eet.
  11. The average person can't keep DI-A straight from DI-AA (and most don't care). And this "FBS" vs. "FCS" naming is going to help?
  12. How do courts feel about breeching contracts?
  13. Let's finish this sentence accurately: and because the money is good.
  14. Really? So which are more or less likely? (Don't add or subtract from the words. Go on just what is says, nothing more.) "UND will get into BSC" "UND will get into Mid-Con" "UND will get into Great West FB Conference" "UND will be in DI indy pergatory until 2011" Enjoy your Cheerios, but don't eat too fast or you may cause a heart attack.
  15. You got the first three letters of your post right. A former NDSU faculty member, who lives in Fargo, who Paulson pushed for, isn't going to help the perceptions in the skeptical quarters on this topic. We're all going to have wonderful time come the Legislative session ... not.
  16. Far-fetched? Yes. But is there evidence that the NCAA has looked and is looking? Yes. Far-fetched? A little less. Extrapolating from there? Yes, that can get far-fetched quickly. Then again, all any of us are doing is speculating on snippets of information. Claiming by anyone, supporting or rejecting a theory, to be more than speculating is in itself far-fetched. Quite simple, objectively looking at the case in point: "UND will get into BSC" <--- speculation "UND will get into Mid-Con" <--- speculation "UND will get into Great West FB Conference" <--- speculation "UND will be in DI indy pergatory until 2011" <--- speculation
  17. Former NDSU faculty picked for the position .... interesting ....
  18. What are you saying? Of course he's irreplaceable. Look at history: Hockey collapsed after Gino left. And it collapsed again after Blaiser left. And football collapsed after RT left.
  19. Ever think someone tells you things as a ruse to figure out where the "info" goes next and thus who might be posting it on SiouxSports.com? See ya later.
  20. I want guys of good character who can play the game and want an education. If they've got that not much else matters.
  21. From UND's DI Report: Your numbers are close, but not quite right on. Secondly, your assumption is the same that others seem to fall in to: The right time for NDSU to move may not be the right time for UND to move. The right budget for NDSU may not be the right budget for UND.
  22. Sit down and take a deep breath Diggler. I know this may come as a shock, but there may be other candidates besides you.
  23. The search for a replacement has already started. And not surprisingly for any move UND makes:
  24. Archie is a forward. He does not pass the "Rick and dagies" criteria. Next.
  25. That only works to keep college presidents in their current positions (or so some would have us believe). Yes, a defenseman would be nice, but don't forget there is one on the staff right now. I suspect that hockey resumes are printing all around the US and Canada as we speak.
