N'er truer words typed.

You're kiddin'. They dumped this game to end the winning streak?
-
(sigh) How could you pick One-And-Done U. You are way smarter than that and yet you got suckered in*. Until they win that first NCAA game pick even Holy Cross, or UA-H, (or US AFA ). For this you must do penance. Two "Our Tony" and a "Hail Parise". Your sins are forgiven; now go in peace. * Goepfert's play in the Final Five should have been your clue.

Well, that was my guess ....

The way it looks, Notre Dame will make up for the lack of goals in the UMass-Clarkson game.
-
But wha' if he was say, er, drivin' a school busssss, loaded with mini-Gophahs.
-
This one is effectively already in sudden death OT (which is ironic given the slow death it's given to those watching).
-
A scoreless Friday night and talk of nerds ... there's gotta be a one-liner in that somewhere.
-
No score after one.

Dude, I'm just borrowing it. My 8086 based PC is in the shop. One of the 5.25 inch 640k floppy drives failed. Gee, I hope I get that 8087 math co-processor for my birthday.

Three words for you ya-hoos: Apple. II. E.

Did you say "flight team"?

[Casey Kasem voice] Now this long distance dedication goes out to Don and his boys on their, well, let's just call it their next "crusade" in Denver. Fly high boys. [/Casey Kasem voice]

Schedules. What channel to watch. The whole bloomin' thing! All games: http://www.uschtv.com/ Details on The Sioux: http://fightingsioux.xosn.com/ViewArticle....p;ATCLID=831855 Now, please, stop the "new thread 'cause I'm not gonna look elsewhere" madness!

UND never tried to establish its speed game, and never established its power game. Credit goes to the team that established its game. There's no "wow" there; it's being honest and humble in defeat and it takes nothing away from the UND WBB season. I hope they use this defeat to push two games further next year.
-
A speed team v. a power team: The speed team wins if they can make it a speed game. The power team wins if they can make it a power game. UND never established its power game. FGCU established their speed game. It's a credit to the team that could dictate the flow of the game.

Do you have your degree and meet the minimum qualifications for the job? It looks like a nice slate of candidates for the womens hockey job.

McFeely is a columnist out to sell papers (see: Ed Schultz in ink). He's equal opportunity: He'll trash or suck up to any one at any time as long as it sells papers. Show me a staff editorial (Op/Ed page) from the Forum leadership questioning NDSU's actions in anything. I can show you many Herald editorials questioning UND. Recent case: The High Plains Reader broke the recent open meeting story. Not The Forum.
-
Show me the last negative to NDSU story the Forum has written. I'll show you at least three slaps at UND that have been in the Herald this week. Although that shouldn't surprise anyone given they are both ForumComm. I'd say "conspiracy" but it's so overt that "agenda" fits better.

Donors probably don't want their names public because they'll only get trashed by "fine" media organizations like the Fargo Forum. Don't believe me? You just wait: They'll dig Mr. Engelstad up just to bury him again. (Sorry Ralph. RIP.) Still don't believe me? Today's Fool'em headline: Engelstad behind NCAA battle Not breech of contract. Not lack of good faith dealing. Nope. A man who has (attention Fargo Forum) been dead for five years!
-
Isn't there a name for that?

There are three Sioux tribes with (parts or all of) reservations in ND: - Spirit Lake (completely in ND and closest to UND) - Standing Rock (straddles the border between SD) - Sisseton-Wahpeton (just enough in ND for a casino on I-29 at the ND/SD border) There are two other reservations in ND: - Turtle Mountain (Chippewa) at the Canadian border - Three Affiliated Tribes (Mandan, Hidatsa, Arikara) in western ND Central Michigan has support of one of five Chippewa tribes in Michigan: good enough. North Dakota has support of one (Spirit Lake) of three Sioux tribes in North Dakota: not good enough. 1/5 > 1/3: Must be that new 'NCAA' math.
