God help you if Kauker finds out you're the leak.

Hennessy pulls all the strings, not Swyg.

Hey Fred, happy birthday about a month late. http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdispla...;pid%5B%5D=5811 You and this "Teeder" fellow amazingly have the same DOB and hometown.
-
I take it you've never met a New York Jets fan on draft day.

Shootout!

The teams are wearing "throw back" uniforms. P'burgh's have a little GVSU feel to them (light blue and black). Buffalo's not wearing the Buffa-slug but the sabres. And if you want to play hockey in a football stadium you need a retractable roof .... I remember the days when not everyone in this region had an indoor rink and this is how hockey was played. Ah the good old days .... Why all the ice issues I wonder.
-
Again, then why'd you first bring it up?
-
Uh, you're the one who insinuated a "Twamley" (i.e. University Relations) connection first ... so does that mean ... For those of you who don't understand: Betty Ralston is Mrs. Don Kojich. If you don't know who Don is, get in the game, learn more about UND.
-
He almost seems like a fatalist: "The puck didn't bounce our way tonight .... no puck luck .... " Bologna. Ralph said, "The harder I work ... " Where's the desperation play?

It's a disaster for the WCHA.

0-24-0 in the last 24 when trailing after 2. I can't tell you the last time I saw a Dave Hakstol team come back from two goals down. Has one? Remember "down three" in a Final Five final? And how many other "down two" comebacks? We didn't win that "down three" game but UND forced OT. With "nothing to play for" according to some. These are definitely not Dean Blais teams. Blaiser's teams took "two goals down" as a challenge and "three down" as a reason to beat you just to spite you. These guys just roll over. It makes me want to question their heart and their pride, all the way to the top.

I can't say it any more clearly: PCM is right. When's the last time anyone here directly contacted Kupchella, Harmeson, O'Keefe, even just Dan Benson, with your thoughts/comments/complaints/concerns? Throw Brekke or Ralston onto that list if you prefer. I know Harmeson is pretty sick of my emails with questions and concerns (and he does reply). Then again, with an email he doesn't have to look at my face (which he's also seen more than he'd like). And I have to agree with Virg Foss when he says: Given the way people treat UND* here, I know I wouldn't. When you post here you reflect both on yourself but also on UND, and how its fans treat its people. * When you berate a UND person here you are in some portion berating all of UND. Ever heard the phrase "praise in public, punish in private"? Given this is a very public place, please, try it folks; it's better for all.

So who would be the most likely to go? Top Five in my mind: Mussman - He played at Iowa State and came from MSU-Mankato (Owatonna native) Kelling - Rochester, MN native via MSU-Mankato (grad) and Augustana (wife is WBB assistant coach) Mannausau - UND grad from Int'l Falls, MN Belmore - Twin Cities guy from Gustavus Adolphus (recruiting coordinator) Schmidt - UND grad from Mandan, ND Any of those wouldn't surprise me. Mussman and Kelling being SE Minnesota guys seem all too logical. Taking the recruiting coordinator (Twin Cities guy) seems so too. Fortunately, UND does things the right way and has skilled people out there to either draw from or get advice from to backfill positions if need be.

That must be from the "internal postings" pages because I can't find it on the external.

You realize you just took a shot at Lennon.
-
Sorry, I'll be missing that. I'll be at #9 New Hampshire at #7 North Dakota with 11406 others in Grand Forks.
-
Tell me again: Contracts with coaches mean what exactly .... ? All of them have "out" clauses.
-
Lennon captained the team in 1983. Assume he was 23 at that time. That means he's roughly a 1960 DOB. We're approaching 2010 and Dale's 50th birthday. And if he stayed he'd be staring the five-year DI transition probation in the face. But even in light of that .... He should've talked to Dean Blais about "greener grass" and bought a red sports car instead.

It's Buning's fault! And why didn't the insiders tell us Buning was screwing this up before it happened? (Sorry, I just felt obliged.) PS - Sac State. Montana State. Now Southern Illinois. Third time (that we know of) is the charm.
-
I do enjoy (allegedly knowledgeable) Bison fans discussing former UND coaches and UND topics oh so ....
-
Randy Hedberg's recent problems (effectively relieved as head coach) at SCSU make me wonder if they are associated in some way .... Is Mike Mannausau (sp) ready?
-
Does Steph on the staff have staph? What a boo-boo by me. Sorry. Too much sugar from the holiday treats grazing.

http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=new...id=alxhrJDn.cdc This is some scary stuff. Does the ND winter kill this (at least on the outdoor turf)?
