I was born in Dickinson and grew up about 40 miles northwest of there. The town and the campus of DSU are still a pretty tight community. I hope and pray for a positive outcome...

I attended DSU for a year before transferring to UND. You're right, the campus is very tight and close knit. I pray for the safe return of these girls. GO HAWKS!

I did my pre-engineering at DSC in 1969-1971 and drove school bus for the Versippi route, which I believe was NE of Dickinson. There were some remote areas out there. Hope they are okay and didn't drive into water.

The entire state will mourn this loss for DSU. Very sad, RIP ladies. You will be missed.

I was just on the campus of DSU this past August when I was in the area to visit my family, who still live in the Belfield area. It really is a beautiful campus and a close-knit group of students. I'm certain that the residents of Dickinson and SW North Dakota in general, in addition to the students on campus, will make the families of the deceased players feel right at home during this incredibly sad time.
