jimdahl
If you like music, you best avoid something called SongSmith from Microsoft. It was making the rounds a month or two ago, but my basic understanding is that you can upload a vocal track and it magically supplies background instrumentals. I guess the thought is that anyone who can sing can be an amateur musician. What it was actually used for, as far as I can tell, is uploading vocal tracks from real songs and their hilariously bad results to YouTube. 82SiouxGuy
I loved the Midnight Special, but the show that got me started listening to music was this. I don't remember this episode. If you listen to the interview at the end, the bass player is from the "wilds of North Dakota".
redwing77
May not be too outlandish as the other 3 members of the Trashmen hail from the Twin Cities. Bob Reed was the name of the bass player. I can't seem to find any information on where in ND is he from.

Shawn-O
This song meant is was a fall Monday night, and time for Dale McCabe and Jerry Olson to hash over some Sioux football for the next half hour.

WOW Africa by Toto sung by Perpetuum Jazzile Sorry, I haven't figured out how to embed yet. By the way, none of the singers are native English speakers. All from Slovenia.
