Can't you picture George Bush with that Little Green Bag in 1969 the year the song came out. George Baker born Dec. 1944 in Hoon Netherlands. Quentin Tarantino used the song in his movie Reservoir Dogs. This link has Tarantino with George in 2008. Great Song. Jackie Brown is one of those movies. Just watched it again. Robert Deniro, Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Tucker and Pam Grier, alot of woman there. I love that 70's psychedelic soul sound. Ordells [ Samuel L Jackson } lawyer is called Stassen Gowens. Great name for a lawyer. Ordell says he meaner than a junk yard dog. That's what the Sioux football team needs on defense. He maybe best known for his role in Guess Who's Coming To Dinner the interracial thing with Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn. I liked his movie To Sir With Love which came out in 1967. In that movie LuLu sings that classic. LuLu looks pretty good 40 years later. But Shawn-O, if you're going Doobie Brothers, I have to go early pre-Michael McDonald. That was still good stuff, but not as good to me as the early stuff. I couldn't find an acceptable youtube vid of South City Midnight Lady, but I did find a decent recent live version of Black Water.
