justjoan
It sounds like they are leaving a 0600 - so I would guess 1100-1130 if there is breakfast stop in Fargo MAFIAMAN!!...JUST DO IT! And, yes, they are stopping in Fargo to pick up Al's daughter (ME!) and others. Get yourself here (Fargo). We can figure something out for Tues. night if you aren't driving in the wee hours of Wed. AM. We'll also be stopping at the Holiday Inn in SIOUX Falls for a pick up, also. (Fargo to Sioux Falls is about 3/12 hrs) He has one guy who is still hoping to find someone to share a room with...NO EXCUSES now! *wink* If it helps...I went on his trip to Mnlps alone a few weekends ago...and I'm hoping this bus without a travel buddy, too. You'll feel like you know everyone fast! JUST DO IT!!! We'll get your questions answered! ...Al's home number is 701-775-6859...and he'll be expecting your call! *insert big cheesy grin with a big shove here*
justjoan
Al Pearson has 10 seats left on his 2 fan buses to St. Louis! Cost is $180.00 and includes bus ride to and from St. Louis, all transportation in St. Louis and "refreshments" on the bus! Hotel rooms are already booked - you pay for your own. Four of these seats come with game tickets which are $155.00 each. He's still looking for tickets for the other 6 seats. If you have your own tickets and just want to come on the bus and get a room, those 6 spots would be great for you. Call Al on his cell at 218-779-5740. Do not miss the Frozen Four - this is the way to go!!! You can also reach AL on his home number of 701-775-6859...he's waiting to hear from YOU! *wink*

Sioux-cia
I know, I know...there's a little issue with missing three straight days of work, though. You've been looking peaked, MM. I think you're really sick. Is that a temperature of 102?! OMG, your lab tests are all terribly abnormal. I think you need to take the week off. MafiaMan
Plus, I noticed that his hair has fallen out. That can't be good. Yea...and knowing my camera-finding luck (cue video of last year's western regional), my boss will probably see me posing for the camera on ESPN Thursday night and think "hmmm...is Scott seeing a specialist in St Louis?". That's where the best specialists for Chronic Bubonic Plague are located. And I understand one of the key treatment protocols is attending hockey games ... to ease your suffering. MafiaMan
I know you are all wondering...no, I didn't make the bus today in GF, Fargo, Sioux Falls, or anywhere else. 99% chance though that if the Sioux win on Thursday, I'll figure out a way to get to St Louis by Saturday night. Safe travels, everyone!
The Sicatoka
Allrighty everyone! I'm off to bed, gotta be up and on the road by 415a to catch Al's Charter in the morning! Is that why the entire ND and SD I-29 corridor smells of "adult beverages" today?
MafiaMan
Unlike 2005, though, I suggest not listening to the "traffic, what traffic?" segment of the bus that wanted to stop for breakfast instead of continuing on to Columbus. You don't want to miss the entire first period of the Maine/Michigan State game.
RedFrog
The Bus has officially made it to it's final resting place after day 1, St. Joseph, MO. We still have another 4 1/2 - 5 hours to go in the morning. We're not leaving here until 8a....some people(including me) would like to leave sooner. Looks as though I am going to miss the meet and greet at Al Hrbwhatevers. Hopefully I'll catch some of ya at the game(s)!! My daughter and I are in section 123 - Row E - Seats 1/2. Well, we're off to grab something to eat, I'll probably check back again later!
The Sicatoka
... the meet and greet at Al Hrbwhatevers. Don't tick Al Hrabosky off. He'll throw at your head (if he wasn't with the Cards broadcast team in Houston this weekend)! Think they serve goulash at his place? MafiaMan
Isn't Hrbosky's place right down the street from Don Denkinger's? Did Jeff from Finley make the trip again this year? Anyone on the Sioux bus from Columbus in 2005?

MafiaMan
I forgot about that!! It was an accident that slowed traffic to a speed equal to that of a zamboni. Well, with all due respect, SOME OF US in the group thought it would be unwise to stop for breakfast as we're used to the possibilities of what can happen on roads in big cities... The other bus drove straight thru. The "common joe" bus was the one that voted to stop. I voted with the minority.
