Old Barn Guy at Home
I wonder how many people will be totally disgusted that their favorite sports show on Fox North Sports (All Star Poker Players) will not be on tonight because they are showing some stupid hockey game that no one really cares about? I wonder who is more disgusted, the poker fans or the guys sitting in a locker room decked out in maroon and gold waiting to play a game they didn't want to have to play? redwing77
another thread on the goofs I'll watch the Gophers before I'll watch Poker. Also, since when the hell is Poker a sport? It's like NASCAR only at least NASCAR drivers have to combat dehydration and heat.

Poker on TV stinks. By the way, I whatched the UM-UAA game last night.

Considering they show spelling bees, and eating contests, on ESPN I can only hope their "Solitaire World Series" takes off. Actually, they're trying to do to backgammon what they've done to poker on TV. Talk about some shrewd thinking ...
Siouxmama
Poker on TV stinks. I'd rather watch paint dry.

Old Barn Guy at Home
Siouxmama, You can watch paint dry on the home improvement station. I'm not sure which station it would be on where you live, but I've seen it on when channel surfing.
Shawn-O
I've learned quite a bit watching televised poker, but I can see where it wouldn't be everyone's cup of java.

I'm not sure which station it would be on where you live, but I've seen it on when channel surfing. I watched plenty of paint last weekend painting a bedroom...and more coming up in the kitchen. By the time I'm done, poker might not look too bad. Actually, I do watch it sometimes, but thats when Mr. Siouxmama has the remote.
