Vegas_Sioux
Maybe the Imperial Palace will show it for old times sake. That's not much more than across the street from the Mirage-E. But you have to get across the street not that easy in the middle

Diggler
Is Tormey still injured? whatever happened with his hand? He came back the week after Mankato came here I think.
The Whistler
But you have to get across the street not that easy in the middle Las Vegas Blvd. I think crossing in the middle is much like suicide. OK Goon, here's how you do it. Leave the Mirage-E, walk to Ceasers Palace. Don't stop for any of those guys handing out girlie books. In front on Ceaser's palace there's a "cross walk". When it says walk, walk across the street to the Imperial Palace. If you want to see the used cars you should be able to get a free pass in front of the Casino. WiSioux
There were quite a few students at the Ralph this morning buying tickets... looks like it is shaping up to be a REALLY good series!

PCM
How many times have we played Mankato in the first round of the WCHA playoffs. Seems like since they started competing in the WCHA tournament, before they even joined the WCHA we've matched up with them more often than not. Here's UND's record against MSU-Mankato in the WCHA first round playoffs. 1997-98 UND 5, MSU 2 UND 5, MSU 4 1998-99 UND 2, MSU 3 (OT) UND 3, MSU 2 UND 10, MSU 0 2005-06 UND 2, MSU 3 (OT) UND 4, MSU 1 UND 3, MSU

Never lost a series yet. I predict that we will win but UND will earn it. There will be more fights I just hope no one gets hurt for the Final Five and the playoffs. redwing77
10-0?!?! Wow. I guess MSUM packed it in after losing a close one.
PCM
10-0?!?! Wow. I guess MSUM packed it in after losing a close one. I remember that game clearly. My parents went to the Saturday night game that the Sioux barely won 3-2 to escape elimination. We were close to the glass when a Mavs player checked Jason Blake very hard into the boards directly in front of us. My mother yelled, "I saw what you did and it wasn't very nice!" That was Ma's contribution to the legendary imtimidation factor of the old Ralph. My father and I went to the Sunday game, expecting to see another tough battle, but the Sioux blew the Mavs out of the water. Of course, they probably should have done the same in the first two games because that was an excellent UND team.
WiSioux
We're just playing another team coming off a bye week... what's this... like the third or fourth time this season?
Siouxdonyms
My mother yelled, "I saw what you did and it wasn't very nice!" Have to love Mom's at hockey games! I still get mad when I think about that loss!

siouxforeverbaby
Lost to BC that year. Hey Diggler, I just realized that if Tormey is back that means your favorite goalie doesn't come this weekend! Sad!

I'm nearly crying as I type this. It makes me: Last year Hollywood was brought along as the third goalie though, so I'm still holding out hope. I BELIEVE!!!! LeftyZL
We'll have four teams ending their season tonight, in game three of series. #25 W. Mich. hosts Alaska #29 Lake State hosts Ferris #31 Ohio State hosts N. Mich. #32 Princeton hosts Brown The Sioux need to host teams to lose tonight, to drop/stay out of the RPI top 25. Thus protecting MSU at or around #23 for the time being. #30 RIT is the highest team done for the season as of this point. Well, we got 2 out of the 4 home teams to lose. Alaska-Fairbanks won tonight as did Northern Michigan. Princeton got 2 goals in the 3rd to come back and win tonight against Brown and Lake Superior State got a great goaltending performance it looks like and a goal with 2 minutes to go to beat Ferris State. mygarske
Should be a great series. I have heard from a number of fellow WCHA fans about how great the Sioux have been playing and how much they fear seeing the Sioux in the playoffs. That Saturday night win in St. Clown was a huge boost to start off the playoffs right. I think St. Clown is going to regret "tossing" that game in for Senior Night. In expectation of the Final 5, I have been talking to a lot of the goofer nation faithless - they not exactly bursting with confidence. As it has been pointed out here before (and by a number of the goof fans I have talked to) the Tyler Hirsch loss has had a MUCH bigger effect on scoring than any of them expected. Okoposo and Bariiballs have really fallen off since Hirsch left. Anyone on this board need some tickets for this weekend? I had a major change in plans and we will not be able to make the games. I have 2 good seats right in front of the press box in the Sioux scoring end for 2 periods. They are listed on the ticket exchange, but I thought I would check with folks on this board.
