He's not a factor. Decent numbers. 30 mins a game, but looks totally bored out there. What a waste his transfer was. I guess he made some $, but I think he should have stayed at UND. He'd have owned the Summit. If you give UND 3 years and then cash in, good for you. Treyson is still playing top minutes so obviously they believe. He has definitely been in a little bit of a slump lately. Quote
sioux24/7 Posted Thursday at 02:55 AM Author Posted Thursday at 02:55 AM Judging by the amount of either JUCO or already in the portal guards that Sather has been following lately, it feels like we will be losing some sort of guard besides Reggie and Eli. Quote
Kab Posted Thursday at 03:17 AM Posted Thursday at 03:17 AM When does Sather start meeting with returning players or has that started already Quote

Countries all differ and he'll still be a US citizen owing taxes here. Ended up w 2 pts in 21 minutes against BYU in their biggest game of the year. Think he checked out. Quote

I think he made the right decision to leave. Sure, he could have been the Summit League player of the year (possibly). Instead he went to a big time school, got to play in some very awesome environments, got to get a look at what the next level looks like and figure out where or if he fits in. In the process he started all 32 games, and averaged 9.5 ppg. Throw in the small amount of the $1.5 million or whatever it was and the choice seems obvious - it's a complete no brainer to leave ND and get that experience. He would have been a fool not to. That's not the same with some of the others who have left, but sometimes you have to take a leap of faith to get to the next chapter in life, if you don't, time runs out and you look back wishing you had at least tried. Kudo's to him 1 2 Quote

Kudo's to him It would be interesting to talk with him in 2-3 years and get some feedback on his decision etc. I do hope he graduates with a usable degree and has a great future no matter what he does. 2 Quote
UND92,96 Posted Thursday at 07:39 PM Posted Thursday at 07:39 PM There's been some speculation about whether Omot would ever consider coming back, but what about Panoam? He's got a year left, and after playing only 42 minutes this season at Xavier, you kind of have to assume he may be moving on again. Quote

It wouldn't surprise me if UND had two guys returning next year and it wouldn't surprise me if they had 6-8 guys returning next year.. how the hell do you even know anymore. Quote

I think they have a few hunches, but I wouldn't say they have a good idea. Some hopes maybe, but not a good idea. They will have player meetings right away, maybe even Monday morning. After that, they will have a good idea, and will react to what is discussed in the meeting. This will be the beginning of the $$ negotiations. Quote

Obviously, the portal doesnt officially open until April 7th, so there isn't a rush, but i would assume end of season meetings will take place and off-season workouts will start up this week. The coaches should learn the intent of the players at the meetings. It's possible, there may be some $$ negotiations with some, so that may drag out players who were in the rotation and are on the fence. 1 Quote
GoodGood Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I don't know why, but ever since someone suggested Guga transferring, all i can do is picture him in an Omaha uniform Quote

There is still money to be made at the top mid major conferences. Why not develop one more year here, when you are going to be the guy and guaranteed tons of minutes? You would still have two more years of eligibility after. The staff can point to Eaglestaff, he made a bunch of money in his last year. Quote

Entered portal and no one wanted him. Career over and no money made Quote
