Surprised there's not much chatter here about the Olympics. 

Note that this thread will have spoilers.

US mixed doubles curling team had two great wins today to qualify for the semifinal playoffs. 

Also, currently watching Czechia vs Finland women's hockey and former UND players Susanna Tapani and Michelle Karvinen.

ditch the pros and the baggage that comes with that

There have been professionals in the Olympics since 1912 so sure. 

Being against the current administration is not anti-american otherwise a portion of "real americans" were also anti american from 21-25.

Curling was added officially in 1998 the same year as women's hockey, yet those are considered normal now. Sports evolve faster than old men, apparently. 

Rotate the games through 4 locations for winter and 4 for summer. Keep them in countries that are welcome to fans and teams wanting to travel.

Italy's woman's hockey need has been pretty good.

France should have bribed some Quebecois/Francophone players. Their jerseys look bad too.

Vonn crashes out, close to two getting medals in women's downhill.

 This figure skating team thing is confusing, but got the gold 

The US need more Winter Olympic locations besides Salt Lake City. The Olympics did beg the US to take the Winter Olympics so Beijing wouldn't get it the one year.

What a win in mixed curling today to head to the gold medal match against Sweden who upset GB.

The guy on the team rolls stones 218 for the Duluth (and outstation MN) area code. 

Sad some people are so sensitive that their poor little hurt feelings are more important than cheering for their country. Sounds pretty anti-US to me.

The USA-Italy mixed doubles curling match today was great sports viewing.  We beat the defending Olympic champs in a back and forth match that came down to the last shot which we made.  The vision/creativity and shot making is off the charts.

Jerseys that have stripes that just end and don't complete, looking at you Canada, should be banned.
