Matt Smabys aggressive defensive pinch is a nice change. Our defense is also standing inside the centerline and not giving them anything. Can be risky, but this team is skilled enough to make it work.

Sloppy period but team speed advantage very obvious with guys in green. Look for 2 on 1 / 3 on 2 goals coming. We are controlling the blue line with solid forechecking. Looking good for good guys.

Definitely not perfect between today and Friday, but a much, much better UND hockey experience through four periods (7 counting 'toba) than we've seen in awhile.  The speed is noticeable.

With the lane changes this period it seemed different than last year.  Has there been a change in coaching philosophy or a change in the rule for line changes.
