Sioux_Hab-it
Pregame report, Trotter with a completely severed achilles. That is a shame and hopefully he will play again as a many players never completely rebound from that injury.

Mad Man
wow! never would have guessed that from the hit. I thought he was just shaken up... what's the recovery on that?? In Gwoz's pregame interview he mentioned that if everything goes right it would be 8 months before he would start rehab.
dakotadan
We gave them an early power play (high sticking) but just killed it off.
GBpakrzz
Lammy is standing on his head so far. The D has to step up here and help him out a bit.

GBpakrzz
JPar has been tearing it up in net this year. Yet, Lammy gets the nod tonight. While I like Lammy and think he is doing a great job so far, whats the reason behind rotating goalies?
UMDDogz
Sioux don't sound like they have the same jump they did in the first period last night. Sounds like J-Par has kept them in the game so far.

Sioux_Hab-it
Perhaps Hak was worried that Denver would injure Parise given the way they were running him last night. Denver Goal Disallowed due to contact with a highstick.
Siouxdonyms
JPar has been tearing it up in net this year. Yet, Lammy gets the nod tonight. While I like Lammy and think he is doing a great job so far, whats the reason behind rotating goalies? Reasoning is pretty simple actually. WCHA regular season is very grueling, and not too many teams stay with just one goalie the entire season. The majority of teams, including the Sioux, rotate goalies in order to keep them well rested. Where I'm sure JPar wanted to play tonight, Hak simply decided that he needed a break, as he did play both games last weekend. It's also good to keep both of them in game form, in case an injury occurs to the other.
dakotadan
Lee just got called for a penalty. We can't give them too many power play chances tonight. Denver just capitalized on the power play. 1 - 0 Denver
Sioux_Hab-it
Sioux need to get their feet moving. The DU bench is short so no excuse for their play thus far. Why do they seem to go into an shell whenever Lammy is in nets?
