redwing77 Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 Well, you can still watch her play on Sat and Sunday........ But what will I do Monday? Quote
HockeyMom Posted February 15, 2006 Author Posted February 15, 2006 But what will I do Monday? Cut out pictures and tape them to the wall? I just got a pic in my head of you having an entire wall filled up with pictures like Robin Williams in One-Hour Photo. Freaky Quote

redwing77 Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 If Meghan had been on Team USA today, all she had to do was to take off her helmet, swirl her hair and then everyone in the arena would have been distracted (men drooling, women seething in jealousy) and USA would have beat Sweden. Oh well. Bronze will suffice. I still bet it will be better than where our men end up in Torino. Quote
dakotadan Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 The ladies had a tough 4-3 overtime loss against Ohio State yesterday. Hopefully the ladies can get it back today. I am getting ready to head off to the game. I hope to see everyone there as it is the ladies last home game of the season. Quote
spfreak Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 I would go but I am heading to Fargo today to see family. Quote
HockeyMom Posted February 20, 2006 Author Posted February 20, 2006 Good game today. The officiating left a lot to be desired. UND had a lot of good looks at the goal, Ohio State's goalie just came up big when she needed to. The crowd- was a good one, not real big but real noisy. I wish those people would have come out earlier in the season. Thanks to the seniors and beat the Gophers next weekend!!!!!! Go Sioux! Quote

It was nice to meet The Avatar, Hockey Mom, her husband and son at the game today. I thought the women played their hearts out, but just couldn't get one past the OSU goalie. The send-off for the seniors last home game was very well done. I think they appreciated it. My daughter and I really enjoyed the game. We'll make it a point to take in more next season. Quote
HockeyMom Posted February 20, 2006 Author Posted February 20, 2006 My daughter and I really enjoyed the game. We'll make it a point to take in more next season. I think you can afford the tickets! PCM, you're young, I expected you to be like 80 from the way people talk on here. We're watching the DVD right now. It's great, thanks a bunch! Quote
PCM Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 I think you can afford the tickets! Possibly. PCM, you're young, I expected you to be like 80 from the way people talk on here.Stop ruining my image! We're watching the DVD right now. It's great, thanks a bunch! Those Radke uppercuts were impressive, weren't they? Quote
HockeyMom Posted February 20, 2006 Author Posted February 20, 2006 Those Radke uppercuts were impressive, weren't they? Cummings looked like he was going to cry. I'm sure if Alexia would have gotten into the penalty box yesterday after she took that one at center ice they would have looked equally impressive. Quote
HockeyMom Posted February 26, 2006 Author Posted February 26, 2006 Ladies dropped a 4-0 decision at MN today. Hopefully they can come out and have a good showing tomorrow evening. Quote
HockeyMom Posted February 26, 2006 Author Posted February 26, 2006 If anyone is interested the Gophers will have audio for this afternoon's game here: http://sports.yahoo.com/top/collegebroadca...s/mbd?sport=wch Quote
HockeyMom Posted February 27, 2006 Author Posted February 27, 2006 The Sioux lost today to the Goofs 6-0. I forgot to listen to the game and I'm kinda glad I didn't. They face Wisconsin next weekend in the first round of the WCHA playoffs. Hasbargen was in net today- which leads me to wonder where Hinkley is/was. Quote

HockeyMom Posted February 27, 2006 Author Posted February 27, 2006 Maggie was cut two weeks ago, two weeks away from graduating with the program. What the hell for? That makes no sense to me, unless there was some disciplinary action. None of which I heard about. Quote
dakotadan Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 The ladies lost to Wisconsin today 4-1. If they can't pull out an upset win tomorrow, the season is officially over. Quote
choyt3 Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 Maggie was cut two weeks ago, two weeks away from graduating with the program. No one gets "cut" three weeks before the season ends. Especially a player that is supposed to be the #1 (or #1A) goaltender. Suspended, or maybe "dismissed from the team", but cut? Has to be more to it. Grades? Team rules? Also, where's this been in the official UND releases? Jake??? Quote
