We’ll see if they can continue playing well once NCHC play begins. Kocha Delic, remember the name. Kid was really good for Sudbury in the O & didn't get drafted because he's short Quote

brianvf Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago I noticed that Spicer hasn't suited up for either WMU game yet this season. Assuming he is being healthy scratched? Quote

ND_Texan Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago New Pairwise is out. Boys are #3. Miami #5! Missing from top 25: Western and Minny. 😂😂😂 Quote

90siouxfan Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago If pairwise is not being used this year, is the new thing out yet? Quote

ND_Texan Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago From USCHO site: Results not available at this time *Team's NPI has been adjusted to remove negative effect from defeating weak opponent. #Team's NPI has been adjusted to remove positive effects from losing to strong opponent. The NCAA Percentage Index is one tool used to select teams for the national collegiate ice hockey tournament. Only results from games between Division I and II teams are used. Factors involved are 1) the team's winning percentage; 2) the weighted average percentage of the team's opponents NPI. updated: October 12, 2025, 12:05:05 PM 1 Quote
cberkas Posted 14 hours ago Author Posted 14 hours ago PWR is 100% useless and NPI doesn't take effect until 12 wins (minimum) Quote

It gives a preview of how the NPI will shake out, as there isn’t a great deal of difference between NPI and PWR. Which is why USCHO is showing the PWR. Yeah, it’s early but the PWR shouldn’t be discounted. 1 Quote

Yeah, it’s early but the PWR shouldn’t be discounted. The pairwise has aways been useless early in the season though. Way too early to be looking at any of those rankings. 2 Quote
