AlphaMikeFoxtrot
If we can get out of January with fewer than 10 regulation losses we have a chance at an at large bid. No easy feat, especially with Western wanting revenge and Duluth needing to salvage their season as well. Luckily the only road series is Miami.

January is huge. 8 games and all of them very winnable if the team plays like they did against WMU. February is a much tougher schedule (four games against DU and SCSU who both swept UND earlier), so if they're gonna move up the PWR and NCHC standings, they need a big January. Even if we were firing on all cylinders that would be a tall task to only lose 1 of 8. Don’t forget Miami just beat SCSU 5-0, none of those nchc games are easy this year

Anything less would probably be a death blow to PWR similar to Canisius sweeping us a few years ago.
Sodbuster
Completely agree with that.
jk
Regarding lines, I also like Ness, Albrecht and Portz, as I felt like they were a big part of last year's surge. On the other hand, embracing Saturday's lines means relegating Strinden, Costantini and Kunz to the fifth line, which doesn't seem right either. Injuries will probably disrupt things anyway.
