AZSIOUX Posted October 16, 2004 Author Posted October 16, 2004 ok so far..they are showing commercials now..... Quote
Smoggy Posted October 16, 2004 Posted October 16, 2004 I see the game tracker is through CSTV. I was checking it out last weekend. The stats are nice, but the play by play doesn't work so well. It takes them a looooong time to update things. I also noticed that their shot chart was different from what Henessee (?) was announcing during the game. Quote
AZSIOUX Posted October 16, 2004 Author Posted October 16, 2004 i noticed the play by play was off by about 5 min , at least they are doing this i guess. improvement ............. Quote
AZSIOUX Posted October 16, 2004 Author Posted October 16, 2004 i have the Hennessy audio with the dataflix so far........... Quote
sprig Posted October 16, 2004 Posted October 16, 2004 I just got my dataflix subscription today since it wasn't on my FSSN dish. However, as luck would have it, every time I try and login it won't let me... what else is new. Is the internet feed not working tonight? I tried with no luck and have only found the Mankato feed for the game. Any suggestions on how to fix any of the above would be much appreciated. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 1. Did you try a dataflix sample to make sure it will work on your PC? There are links to a ZPar interview and a segment of last season's Concordia game. 2. If it's a login problem, have you refused cookies or have an auto setting that refuses cookies from dataflix? (can't get from your uname/password to the purchased game?) Quote
sprig Posted October 16, 2004 Posted October 16, 2004 I'm getting the radio broadcast out west on KFYR 550AM, Bismarck. Mankato feed streamed for a bit than quit. Would guess a lot of Sioux fans were connecting with no Sioux streaming audio feed available, again. Quote

mksioux Posted October 16, 2004 Posted October 16, 2004 Mankato wearing their ugly yellow jersies. Quote
sprig Posted October 16, 2004 Posted October 16, 2004 Mason the referee, interesting. Wonder if he'll call the game by the "new" rules. Would be a large change from last year's UAA series. Quote
sprig Posted October 16, 2004 Posted October 16, 2004 Quick holding penalty on Murray; amazing. Quote
AZSIOUX Posted October 16, 2004 Author Posted October 16, 2004 HOLDING MURRAY..HERE WE GO AGAIN... Quote

OhioSiouxFan Posted October 16, 2004 Posted October 16, 2004 Why do they have empty seats? I'd love to be in one even as a Mankato fan.... Quote
Sweeny Posted October 16, 2004 Posted October 16, 2004 I am watching the game on dataflix-first time I have tried it. So, for the rest of you who have done this before I have a question: is it supposed to be impossible to see the puck? Quote

AZSIOUX Posted October 16, 2004 Author Posted October 16, 2004 the away games are worse than the home games......home games will be a bit better.. Quote
farce poobah Posted October 16, 2004 Posted October 16, 2004 Mercyhurst 2, Wisconsin 0, in the first Quote
sprig Posted October 16, 2004 Posted October 16, 2004 the away games are worse than the home games......home games will be a bit better.. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> true, home games take advantage of mutiple cameras set up in the REA; at away games REA sends one guy/one camera and that generally means a high center angle. kinda like watching tv for a game at the World Arena Quote
sprig Posted October 16, 2004 Posted October 16, 2004 Sioux streaming audio is now working. http://134.129.201.95/hockeym Quote

OhioSiouxFan Posted October 16, 2004 Posted October 16, 2004 Between period thought...Is anyone aware of any other WCHA teams having similar satellite service for home games? Perhaps a different satellite, but unscrambled like FSSN? Could be a good way to pick up away games not otherwise televised. Quote
