They should have made it that each team can only protect 5 or 6 players total. 2. The protected list should have been made before the playoffs. Quote

cberkas Posted June 17, 2017 Author Posted June 17, 2017 It sounds like the Blue Jackets will trade the 24th overall pick and a prospect to the Golden Knights. The NHL was stupid for not letting the Golden Knights be just Knights because of a team in the OHL. Quote
cberkas Posted June 17, 2017 Author Posted June 17, 2017 Wild might make a deal with the Golden Knights to not take Brodin, Scandella, and Dumba. Haula could be exposed, but you have to think any deal with the Golden Knights is going to involve Zucker to the Golden Knights. Quote

cberkas Posted June 17, 2017 Author Posted June 17, 2017 The roster freeze is in effect, no more trades until after the draft. The only trades tomorrow can be made with the Golden Knights. Quote

Think they would even be alright loosing Scandella and would maybe include a prospect to get that done. Quote

There's talk that there will be talk between the Wild and Golden Knights on passing on unprotected players that the Wild want to keep. It also sounds like Zucker gets the last protected spot or is exposed. Quote
