Fighting Sioux #1 Posted February 20, 2004 Posted February 20, 2004 Are the games this weekend on TV via satellite?? Saw a sign at Dagwoods to "Watch Sioux Hockey here"....wondering if they (or any other bars) will have them on. Quote
iceberg Posted February 20, 2004 Posted February 20, 2004 usually road games arent televised I know it is on in Mankato on Charter channel 14 (cable only) Quote
Fighting Sioux #1 Posted February 20, 2004 Author Posted February 20, 2004 I'm curious if Dagwoods (or anyone else) can pick up that feed???? Or, is the sign in front of Dagwoods just a generic sign for other Sioux games?!?!? I think a call to Dagwoods is in order... Quote
CoteauRinkRat Posted February 20, 2004 Posted February 20, 2004 Or, is the sign in front of Dagwoods just a generic sign for other Sioux games?!?!? I know the sign has been up all year. Quote
Cratter Posted February 20, 2004 Posted February 20, 2004 I guess having the REA is good for other teams fans. How about other teams in the league step it up and broadcast games. Quote
jerseychaser1 Posted February 20, 2004 Posted February 20, 2004 I hate listening to the games on the radio. Quote
Marty Posted February 20, 2004 Posted February 20, 2004 I hate listening to the games on the radio. What!? You're crazy man. Listening to games on the radio is great. I would much rather go to a game or watch it on tv but listening to TH is great. Listening on the radio brings so many memories of '97 when I wasn't able to go to the games but listened to all of them on the radio. Quote
Fighting Sioux #1 Posted February 20, 2004 Author Posted February 20, 2004 I called Dagwoods.....they are showing the Webcast both nights!!!!!!!!! GO SIOUX !!!!!!!!!!!! Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted February 20, 2004 Posted February 20, 2004 I've never gotten the webcast before, but I am tonight. Do they broadcast it with audio? If so, what audio feed is it? Quote
Fighting Sioux #1 Posted February 20, 2004 Author Posted February 20, 2004 I've never gotten it either.....but I believe the audio is Tim Hennessy. Quote
jojordan23 Posted February 20, 2004 Posted February 20, 2004 I was at Dagwoods for the Saturday night Wisconsin game, they put the Data Flix feed up on their TV screens. The audio is Tim H., but it is delayed a few seconds, as it is internet feed... Quote
Fighting Sioux #1 Posted February 20, 2004 Author Posted February 20, 2004 jojordan23, Was the picture decent quality??? Pauses or cut-outs??? Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted February 20, 2004 Posted February 20, 2004 As long as the video and audio are close. Cuz during saturday's wisconsin game they through the internet feed on the Ralph's big screen between basketball games and somebody said it was about 30 seconds behind. Quote
Goon Posted February 20, 2004 Posted February 20, 2004 I called Dagwoods.....they are showing the Webcast both nights!!!!!!!!! GO SIOUX !!!!!!!!!!!! Anyone know of any other bars that are showing tomorrow nights game? Quote
teamsioux Posted February 20, 2004 Posted February 20, 2004 Southgate had webcast games earlier in the year. Quote
sprig Posted February 20, 2004 Posted February 20, 2004 I was at Dagwoods for the Saturday night Wisconsin game, they put the Data Flix feed up on their TV screens. The audio is Tim H., but it is delayed a few seconds, as it is internet feed... Since the video feed via dataflix is internet also, the TH audio matches the video feed on dataflix. If you run the audio separately from the video feed, it will not match. Qualilty has been fairly good of late, although road arena's are usually not as good as broadcasts from the ralph. SCSU was dungy, dark, don't know how the Kato arena compares? Quote
Marty Posted February 21, 2004 Posted February 21, 2004 I'm in St Peter, MN which is about 10 miles north of Mankato and they didn't have the game on here. I was upset to say the least. I did however order the Dataflix for the first time and was very happy with it. It had a decent picture and it was nice to have TH on there. There were however some pauses and time it needed to rebuffer but other than that I was pleased. I'll be at the game tonight though so I won't have to sit by my computer with my jersey on watching the game on a tiny monitor. Quote
If only we had Belfour Posted February 21, 2004 Posted February 21, 2004 I checked with Victory sports and they have the SCSU - UW game on tonight. So does anyone know if Sensors in Roseville can get the SIOUX game at all? I was hoping it was on Victory . Thoughts? Is there anyway to actually watch it in the MSP area? Quote
