You think I'd know that when I booked my tickets and spent almost a grand months ago! Too much work, not enough sleep...

Looking forward to Grand Forks! Any suggestions on must-visit establishments? I like beer...

The Red Pepper with delicious schneiders and grinders.  Parrots Cay for wings and cajun. Widmans for caramel apples. Rhombus Guys for overpriced pizza.

Rhombus Brewery  just opened. Some excellent beers there. I recommend the porter.

Grand Forks beer options are pretty limited compared to what you probably see in Montana (it's limited compared to most of North Dakota, actually).  However, relatively decent beer selections may be found at JL Beers (a beer and burgers joint, very small so go early), Wild Bill's Sports Saloon, the Blue Moose, Brick & Barley, and Rhombus Guys (2 locations, 1 pizza bar and 1 microbrew).  If you're more of a light beer guy anyway, then you can go anywhere.  Wings at Parrot's Cay (it's a hole in the wall kind of place) are great, pizza at Rhombus and Mike's Pizza is good, Blue Moose (try the spinach queso dip), or if you're looking for something a bit upscale then Sky's or Toasted Frog.  I recommend you DO NOT order food at the Tavern in the Canad Inn (hotel attached to the Alerus Center).
