U2Bad1
Just so you know.. her pic on fightingsioux.com doesnt even get close to doing her justice.
OETKB
8 min. to go. Dive called on CC! Also a penalty on Fuher. That's got to be shameful, but CC has been doing it all night.
sioux fan in phoenix
If CC has been diving all night, why do they decide to call it now when we have this one pretty much in the bag?
OETKB
Sioux forechecking extremely well tonight. Not much chance for CC to handle the puck.
OETKB
TH: "I don't think CC shows the jump to get back into this (game)." I agree.
OETKB
Replay of the save Parise just made was fantastic. This has to be the best freshman goalie we've had since Goehring.

jk
Sounds like CC has been generating a few chances since TH said that. Sioux need to go play some offense to run this one out.

OETKB
This will be the 20th win for the Sioux. And they really needed it! Sweep 'em!
OETKB
11,116 at the game tonight, despite the bad roads. You gotta love it!
UMDDogz
Great win for the Sioux. looks like the McNaughton may be decided at the DECC in 2 weeks!!
OETKB
Blais even said he went with 3 lines tonight. I don't like that very much. The last championship team had 4 good lines that Deano rolled in the final game. However, except for that anomoly (I hope), this was a great game for the Sioux. They outshot and outplayed CC big time.
OETKB
Players of the game (IMO): Genoway, Porter, J Parise, Greene.

UND should have the guys to roll four lines.
Smoggy
Well, we got what we wanted/needed. Lundbohm's line had 3 goals I believe (though one was to Greene), and Genoway got a couple. The D stepped up into the play, and the goaltending was 'solid.' Not great, but 'solid.' Good to see us get back to our third period form. Now it's on to watching MSU-Denver on FS Rocky Mtn. Channel 645 if you have DirecTV. 4-0 Denver after two.
Smoggy
Players of the game (IMO): Genoway, Porter, J Parise, Greene. What about Lundbohm? 1 goal and 2 assists.
OETKB
What about Lundbohm? 1 goal and 2 assists. Yes, "Lundblum" was good. A bit of a sleeper for as good a game as he had. He has turned it up in the second half.
OETKB
Zach & Bochenski were both "Minuses" on +/- tonight, yet UND won 5-2. Sounds like the first half of the season. That is a good omen (I hope). Nobody hopes more than me that this team will bury the memory of last season's flop this year.
DamStrait
How about Stafford with two great first assists on the first two goals. And how about Matt Jones? IMHO best player on the ice tonight, and he's been the best defensemen I've seen in college hockey all year. Matt Jones is a stud without peer. OETKB
Okay, Matt Jones, too. He has been solid all year. I guess in my Players of the game, I was going more for the best surprises of the game.
Fedorov
J Par made one big save, otherwise he didn't offer much tonight. He has a new painted helmet, but the green is too light. There was no atmosphere tonight. The students didn't know what to do during introductions, so I hope something can be planned for tomorrow. The general public contributed as much as normal to the introductions (i.e., 20 people cheering).

He didn't look really good in the first, but picked it up from there. Especially on replay - he looked good.
SiouxTupa
Welcome to St. Ralph's Cathedral. Where we motivate our team to victory through moments of silence. Good game for the sioux though. Shut the door after the first and played very solid. The best part is the variety of player scoring. Good games across the board for players previously mentioned in this thread. JPar shut the door and hopefully got some confidence back. However, Brandt gets his back tomorrow?
