Brasco Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 I am trying to figure out the cost of having Oshie with his number on the back of my 7 year old son's jersey. Does anyone know the cost at the arena? How do they look? Do they hold up with washing? Thanks in advance, he is a huge Oshie fan from our time in Missouri the last 4 years. Quote

I just had my authentic jersey out to get stitched up with Naumenko on it and that set me back $120. I know if you just get it put on at the rink during the game it's cheaper though, maybe $50-60? Someone else can confirm who's actually had it done. It's actually pretty cool that you can do it right at the game. I saw some guy at the UMD series with Je Suis Charlie on his jersey and those attacks had just happened a couple days ago. Quote
siouxforcefans Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 If I recall correctly (it's been over a year) Name, number, and letter (C or A) is about $90, but if you drop it off early in night, they'll deliver it to your seat before the end of the game. Good quality and will hold up to washing fine, although we mostly spot clean our jerseys. Quote

They sent it off to get stitched, can't remember the name of the company off-hand, could be Exclusive. Quote
snova4 Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 They don't send it off to get stitched when you bring a jersey in, they will do it right at the Ralph. The jerseys they send off, are when you buy an Authentic at the shop, and then want names/numbers/C's/A's put on it. They then send it off to the same company that does the jerseys for the team, to give it a true "Authentic" process. My Blood jersey my wife bought me for Christmas has held up very well, but I again, like many others, don't actually wash it. It gets spot treated, and only brought out for games at the Ralph. Other than that, it stays in the closet. Quote

avsfan1 Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Just had one done this weekend at the ralph. For name and number on the jersey it was $84 with tax. Quote

Well I had to pay a shipping charge so I don't know where they shipped my jersey too then! haha Trust me I hadn't had any beers yet, it was sent to be stitched. I'll have to check the receipt to see where they sent it to. My jersey was an authentic jersey bought at the Sioux shop a year ago and they "shipped it" to have Naumenko #6 and an A stitched onto it. last time i checked the ralph charged 140 or so for them to send it off. if you send it directly to eps, eps will only charge your 80 (give or take a few dollars) Crap, wish I would've gone directly through EPS then. Oh well. Quote
Big A HG Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 If going through EPS... Pros: +$65 per jersey plus shipping to and from +Accurate numbering/lettering Cons: -Turnaround time is not good. Expect a month or two (or more if in peak season). They do individual custom orders as more of a courtesy than anything since they pay the bills by doing a number of pro and amateur teams' work each and every year. If going through REA... Pros: +All proceeds go to UND athletics. The Sioux Shop and Authentics are non-profit +Accurate numbering/lettering +Good turnaround time Cons: -Cost is more expensive I try to spend my money at REA whenever I can opposed to places like Scheels and other stores since the money is directly helping UND athletics. When considering the above pros and cons, I'd rather spend a little extra to have the work done through the Sioux Shop, but you are welcome to make your own decisions. 3 Quote

Brasco Posted January 29, 2015 Author Posted January 29, 2015 Had Authentics put Oshie and his numbers on my sons jersey last game. It looks great and he was thrilled! Thanks for all the helpful comments Quote

Maybe I'm just full of it to, could always be a possibility but I swear that was what she told me. She had contemplated just doing the premier jersey, and they would do the stitching for that one at Authentics, but if you bought the actual $250 she had to have it sent off. Anyway, glad it worked out for you Brasco! Quote
Kermit's Luck Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 Any of you guys involved with the old school customs that guys on here used to put together? I think I need a mid-80's replica pretty badly, and haven't seen those posts in awhile. Anyone got any ideas? Quote
