cberkas Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 The World Juniors are going back in two years to Toronto and Montreal? Quote
Godsmack Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Yah. What's up with that? They interviewed the President of the IIHF at intermission and apparently they are not happy with how Montreal has hosted this year's tournament. They've been happy with Toronto but not so with Montreal (Details as to why not given during interview). Quote

It will be back in 2017 In Toronto and Montreal, then back in Canada 2019 and 2021. 2018 it's in the US. Quote

Godsmack Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 I don't like the Russians but I gotta too my cap to them. They have proven that it isn't over until it's over. They easily could've rolled over and died but they battled until the very end. Just came up 1 goal short. I'll remember their effort the next time UND is losing a game but still have time to claw back. The Russians really impressed me tonight. Quote
I Ranger Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 With Sweden blowing the bronze medal game to Slovakia, next year looks like a bracket of death as #1 Canada, #4 Sweden and #5 USA will all be in the same bracket. Don't recall a time when those three where all on the same side. Quote

Don't recall a time when those three where all on the same side. With four teams per group making the playoffs it doesn't matter nearly as much compared to when only three got through. Russia will suck during group play and mess up the brackets as usual. Quote
