CoteauRinkRat Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 3:06 left in OT big loss for the Sioux Earl gets the winner for the hat trick Quote
redwing77 Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 Good news is that we don't have to worry about being #1 anymore. Quote
CoteauRinkRat Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 we collapsed late in the 3rd and in OT no doubt, but had to once again fight the officials who again screwed us Quote
sprig Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 Reminds me of the 6-2 lead that disappeared at Wisco. Not a very good performance. Puck went into the net too easy in the first. Wisco doesn't quit. Quote
CoteauRinkRat Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 J Parise? Parise will be in goal tomorrow, I'm sure Quote

There were a few questionable calls, but nothing that directly influenced the game. We lost because we blew it. JPar tommorrow folks. Definitely. Quote
MinnesotaNorthStar Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 Not cool. NOW we have to win tomorrow. How do you give up 4 goals to Wisconsin and blow a 3 goal lead? They better come out hard and ready to play tomorrow. Quote
CoteauRinkRat Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 makes me sick to my stomach to think of how we played late in the game Quote
U2Bad1 Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 How bad was the second goal let in by brandt? Quote

SFSIOUX#1 Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 Feel that on your neck?? That's BULLDOG BREATH!! My 2nd post - go to the bulldog board. Bulldogs no doubt have a great program but it pales in comparison to ND. Quote
If only we had Belfour Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 I know it is not time to panic or anything, but does it feel like we may have peeked too soon once again? I rmembr teams like the one that walked to the WCHA title and lost to BC in the first round. I say anything less than a national title from this team is a disappointment. Next year bucks will be goen for sure Quote
sprig Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 Feel that on your neck?? That's BULLDOG BREATH!! You're getting old here, Dog. Find a hole to crawl into, you're getting yours over the next few weeks Quote

If only we had Belfour Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 unless there is a strike he is gone. It is called leverage and after your JR year you can still say "pay me or I will go back to school" after your senior year you always get less money. That is why Taffe, Hale, and Martin for example all got bigger signing bonuses than Leopold. Quote
sprig Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 I know it is not time to panic or anything, but does it feel like we may have peeked too soon once again? Sioux have faced little adversity this year; now they have. They either pick it up, or fade away like last year. They can't coast home now. Quote
SFSIOUX#1 Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 I am a dire hard Viking fan and Sioux fan - hopefully there is not a pattern here. Someone please tell me that the Sioux are in a "funk" and they will get their act together as we near the games that really count... Quote
FrozenTundra Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 Pathetic. What a horrible performance in the 2nd, 3rd, and overtime. Sorry folks, this may not be a championship team. Championship teams don't choke away wins like this. If it weren't for Parise and Brandt we would have lost 6-0. By the way, at what point do we start playing Fabian in place of Massen? The way he is playing we could put an orange construction cone on the ice with a #20 painted on it and get the same result. Quote
