MafiaMan Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 Can't tell if this is sarcastic? haha CBSSN's crew last night said that - I was poking fun at them. I'd like to see NORTH DAKOTA on the first line as well. Quote

MafiaMan Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 Ah I see, little slow on the uptake today If you didn't see the game on CBSSN, you wouldn't get the joke. Stroll thru last night's game thread for some chuckles. Quote

Nope, that's why. Funny part was I was in Warroad aka Hockeytown USA visiting friends(in close relation to former Sioux players) and they didn't have the channel to watch the game, talk about irony. jdub27 Posted February 16, 2014 Author Posted February 16, 2014 So Blasi got a 10 year extension last year and Hak is making him look silly tonight... 1 Quote
jdub27 Posted February 16, 2014 Author Posted February 16, 2014 HHeadd to bun. Lets do this. Avoid the hak patented sat nite let down Looks like the "realists" along with the torch and pitchfork manufacturers were the only ones who were let down last night. Quote
Goon Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 So Blasi got a 10 year extension last year and Hak is making him look silly tonight... Fire Blasi? Quote
MafiaMan Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Fire Blasi? No way, but a 10-year deal is an eternity in the coaching world. Quote
jdub27 Posted February 17, 2014 Author Posted February 17, 2014 No way, but a 10-year deal is an eternity in the coaching world. Down to only 9 more years after early March! And looking at his past results and listening to him talk at the luncheon on Friday, I have a hard time believing he won't have Miami fixed real soon. Quote

I really like Blasi - sure wish he would have won that BU title game a few years back. I'd still be losing sleep at night over that loss if I were him. Quote

UND-RedSox fan Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 According to wikipedia he is only 42 and this is his 15th season as the head coach at Miami! And without a great conference tournament this will be the first time Miami misses the national tournament since 2004-2005 season. Quote

"Kool-aid drinker" Too bad you have none of this confidence in the team you supposedly support? Quote
scpa0305 Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 Didn't Hak just receive an extension? Quote
siouxweet Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 No way, but a 10-year deal is an eternity in the coaching world. those deals mean absolutely nothing in the coaching world. I know it wasn't a 10 year deal but ask NDSU how the Bohl extension worked out and didn't the all holy one Blais leave during the middle of his contract? Quote
