CoteauRinkRat
odd that the ice cracked like that, in such a big chunk. I thought for sure there was something wrong with the cooling system.
U2Bad1
Kinda funny that UM breaks all sorts of records when UND comes to town, but UW is their NUMBER 1 RIVAL BABY

PCM
I heard the ice cracked due to the enormous weight of expectations placed on the Gophers by the POI crowd.
airmail
I heard that their concrete is white, so they didn't know the ice was thin. All indoor ice is thin. (ideally) Whether the concrete is white, black or red... the ice is still only about 1/4" or so... what the heck are they talking about? The thicker it is, the farther away it is from the under-floor cooling pipes. The farther away from the pipes it is, the crappier (softer) the ice surface is.
