jdub27 Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Wasn't rumors or secret rumblings, it was discussed as an option in the Herald in October when they bought the building. The partners are weighing several ideas, looking at renovation costs and studying feasibility, but Hendricks was willing to discuss one possibility: a brewpub. “We’ve been essentially talking about making our own beer since we were kids,” Hendricks said. But their interest in brewing does not guarantee they will pursue the idea. Hendricks said the apartments generate enough income to justify the purchase of the building, and that gives them time to figure out if brewing would be the plan for the space or if something else would be better Quote
smokey the cat Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Wasn't rumors or secret rumblings, it was discussed as an option in the Herald in October when they bought the building. A brew pub would be good use. I wonder though how good the sound proofing is? Renting a nice apartment then all of a sudden you get to listen to a bar until 2:00 am. Quote
dmksioux Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Nice timing for this story... http://mobile.grandforksherald.com/page/article/id/282495/property_id/40/ Quote
Cratter Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Herald reporters have admitted to reading this site. When I was reading this thread I text Arron asking him about the brewpub. He had said the same thing basically as the article: "maybe and it's pretty expensive though." Quote
