watchmaker49 Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 I slapped this together yesterday home after I got home from the tournament in Sidney, MT. It's only pictures I took with my iPhone and Windows Movie Maker. It's extremely poor quality and BEK Sports www.beksports.com broadcast the game. I've contacted them to see if they will put a highlight video together and send it out..... UNBELIEVABLE FINISH! This is the greatest comeback I have ever witnessed in a hockey game. https://www.facebook...151280185456175 What happened? Who was playing? Quote
HockeyMom Posted March 5, 2013 Author Posted March 5, 2013 MayPort vs. Langdon. Langdon was up 4-1 with less than four minutes left in the 3rd and MayPort won 5-4. Quote

HockeyMom Posted March 5, 2013 Author Posted March 5, 2013 BEK Sports is putting together a highlight video of the championship. I will put the link up as soon as they send it to me. Here's the NDAHA website and the tournament results: http://www.ndaha.org/page/show/540124-hs-boys-ndaha-2012-2013- Quote

sioux rube Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 Why was it held in Montana? Because Sydney has a team and is in the league. Quote
iluvdebbies Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 Why was it held in Montana? There is a team that plays in the league....Richland Rangers. Quote
watchmaker49 Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 Because Sydney has a team and is in the league. Thanks. Because I was going to ask the same question. Quote
watchmaker49 Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 Here you go! https://www.facebook...151284811786879 Thanks once more! I really wanted to see a team come back like that. If I am not mistaken are not May/Port and Langdon rivals somewhat in sports? Langdon is an interesting little town. There are a lot of nice old houses that have been restored very nicely. Their bakery is really good also. Quote

HockeyMom Posted March 6, 2013 Author Posted March 6, 2013 I'm actually originally from Langdon and grew up in one of those beautiful houses-a three story brick house-that you're talking about on Highway 5. The bakery is The Bread Pan and it's nothing short of amazing.... My kid is a defenseman for MayPort. Quote
HockeyMom Posted March 6, 2013 Author Posted March 6, 2013 Haha my sister lives just outside of Greeley! Quote
tho0505 Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 Hate to see anyone besides the Stallions win! I won a state title with them in 2002 and we fell short my senior year in the championship in 2003. Quote
tho0505 Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 Is this what used to be Midget Hockey in ND? Yes it is. But it extends into Minnesota, SD, and MT. There are Junior Gold teams and tournaments throughout Minnesota. Also they included a lot of teams coming from Canada to play in the tournaments. Quote

At that time the only teams from the eastern half of ND were from Fargo. Quote
