Matt Posted October 22, 2012 Author Posted October 22, 2012 Cal Poly just can't get a break!! They may have to go undefeated to be a seeded team!!! They win at Eastern on Nov 3rd and they may go to #1. Then with Northern Arizona still to play, they will have plenty of time to be where they want to be. Quote
dlsiouxfan Posted October 22, 2012 Posted October 22, 2012 In other news, NDSU leapfrogged Georgia Southern in the AGS poll after 34 votes were mistakenly cast for Georgia State University. Someone alert Kolpack as this surely requires an investigation. Quote
UNDColorado Posted October 22, 2012 Posted October 22, 2012 These polls are very interesting because I have to wonder if these voters watched any of the games, or just simply looked at final score. First of all Poly: There is no way Lehigh should be ranked ahead of them with their JV level schedule. Poly should be top 10 for sure, with NAU right behind them. This east coast bias is really starting to take over. Also, this really doesn't matter because in no way are we a top 25 team, but how does Montana get more votes than us? Something just doesn't make sense here, rant over. Quote
Let'sGoHawks! Posted October 22, 2012 Posted October 22, 2012 Bracketology http://www.sportsnet...FCS_Bracket.pdf It is simply ridiculous to see Cal Poly in that situation...yes I know it isn't official, but they are getting no respect! I wonder why? Quote
darell1976 Posted October 22, 2012 Posted October 22, 2012 They win at Eastern on Nov 3rd and they may go to #1. Then with Northern Arizona still to play, they will have plenty of time to be where they want to be. By that time Northern Iowa may be back in the top 10. I see they are still getting votes with their one DI win. Their votes should have gone to Cal Poly who should be in the top 5. Quote
UNDColorado Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Here is a little tidbit from SFI: Montana State is #6 in the latest Gridiron Power Index. UND will have played #3, 4, 6, and 7 in a five week span. The other team is Montana Quote
Dagger Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 The Gridiron Power Index has 4 Big Sky teams in the top 7 in the country. Quote
UNDBIZ Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 The Gridiron Power Index has 4 Big Sky teams in the top 7 in the country. Hopefully that drops to 3 after saturday. Quote
sultan Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 I see in the new poll Northern Iowa is still getting votes. They have 1 Division 1 win. Incredible. Quote
