that there is excitement back for UND Football?

Yes, UND lost yesterday and it sucked, but with the amount of traffic on Siouxsports.com discussing the game, players, stats...., there is new energy that has been lacking.

It's only Sunday and I can't wait for the next game, back to California, this time for a "W".

I agree and this week is a big game.. they need to get back on a winning track. I looked at Big Sky TV for this weekend and they 5 games and 4 games going at the same time at 6:00 pm including Sac St and UND. I still can not believe that SDSU did not have a streaming?

a SDSU fan had a ustream up. and the first half was also shown on KUSI website. I don't know why they took it down around half. The Ustream had some problems in the 3rd qtr, but made it back up for the end.

Yes, I do think there's some excitement back for Sioux football. The outstanding offensive show at San Diego State has gotten the fans inspired again. I do believe the intense heat was really wearing on the defenses of both teams. I think the Sioux defense will show up in future games. In a way it's ironic. In the recent past we have been concerned about our offensive performance. This year it's defense. I think things will straighten out. We'll know more after this weekend.

I think if we beat Sac State Saturday and both the offense and defense shows up, say a score of 38-14, we'll enter the polls and there will be a big rowdy crowd for the Cal Poly game. Especiacially if Poly handles Davis and they also enter the polls.
