dakotadan Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 UND blocks a FG attempt. The ball was live and all of the players just ran off of the field. After half of the team was off of the field somebody finally realized that the play had not been blown dead and walked over to the ball. The ref just waved him off and finally blew the play dead. This team is not well coached. Quote
Witt Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 End of 1Q....7 7 UND offensive line doing a good job giving Goska all day to find his target....Sioux converting on longer passes and 3rd downs. USF can't get off the field when they have UND in tough spots. Quote

Sioux27 Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 I wonder what is going through muss's mind right now. Quote
Witt Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 USF getting a little pressure now....2 sacks. UND much larger players..USF is using speed to compete right now. USF blocks the punt....almost tackles the punter. USF ball at about the UND 25.. Quote
Feff Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 Easy to see which team showed up to play. How can UND not be motivated for this game? Quote
dakotadan Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 I wonder what is going through muss's mind right now. My guess: "We are going toe-to-toe with them!" Quote
Witt Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 IF USF could hit their targets in the passing game....geez....that'd be a real good spot in this one. ANOTHER block fg......7 7....late 2nd. Quote
Witt Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 USF 4 sacks now. USF with the ball at their own 30......3m left before half. 7 7 Quote
Witt Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 #35 and #45 for UND are a load upfront.. USF marching now..2 big passes....1st and goal.. Quote
SiouxCrew11 Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 This is fucking pathetic. How many times will we allow mussman to deliver subpar performances against severely inferior competition? This is a D2 team taking it to a D1 school that is in the LAST YEAR OF THE TRANSITION. FIRE MUSSMAN!! 1 Quote
Witt Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 USF TD over the top....Oates goes up and gets it. XP blocked....13-7 USF....44s left half Quote
Feff Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 This is uninspired. They look way faster than us. They lose again to Sioux Falls and Muss is gone Quote

Irish Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 Note to Muss - this is how you come to play a superior team - anybody think Sioux Falls will take any knees? Quote
Witt Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 This is uninspired Must be..just like in 2009....cuz USF's no good....lol 1 Quote
Let'sGoHawks! Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 Must be..just like in 2009....cuz USF's no good....lol Sorry bud, USF will never get any credit from me, they are a lower division team that should be getting worked right now. This falls on UND. Quote
Let'sGoHawks! Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 Mussman: Not very good, not a lot of energy in the building, or on our sideline. Shoot ourselves in foot. Lucky to be in ballgame. Go out, play second half and win football game. Find a way. "We can do this". Quote
Witt Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 "We are lucky to be in the ballgame.." -Mussman, half Quote
Let'sGoHawks! Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 "We are lucky to be in the ballgame.." -Mussman, half Mussman is lucky to still be employed. Lets see how the second half goes. Quote
dakotadan Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 Pathetic. It will be interesting to see if the coaches make any halftime adjustments for the first time ever. Muss' assessment of the first half: "Not very good. There isn't much energy in the building." How can you expect the fans to be into a pathetic showing like this? Has the team given the home crowd much to be excited about in the last few seasons? I guess the Sioux are losing because the crowd isn't into it. But at least we are going toe-to-toe with them. Only down by 1 score. Quote
