Let'sGoHawks! Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 I liked what I saw after one game. I'm calling them the KNK line. Rolls off the tongue! Quote
mikejm Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 That line won't be skating together in a month's time. Quote
NDHockey Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 Why must we always come up with some hokey name for a line anyway? It seems like some of our fans have an infatuation with that. Quote
Let'sGoHawks! Posted October 8, 2011 Author Posted October 8, 2011 Tough crowd. Most teams fanbases come up with names. At least we never had the "ZZ pops" line like the Devils did. Quote

siouxforce19 Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 I hope you're wrong because they were one of the few lines that generated opportunities. I think they're going to have to be split at some point. They're the big three, yeah, but I'm just wondering if the experience of one of those three would be of benefit to playing on a line with a couple of the freshmen. I'm just not sure how I feel about an all-freshman line at this point. Quote
2ndGenSiouxFan Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Knightline I think Jim Scanlon mentioned that name during Friday's broadcast...probably a safe bet to call the top line by that name, as Corban looks to be a fixture... Quote
yzerman19 Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 I agree that those 3 will not be skating together in a week or two. Based on what I saw last weekend, this is what I'd put together: Knight with Nelson and Rowney (strong on the puck) Grimaldi with Kristo and MacMillan (serious speed) Lammy with Parks and Rodwell (energy line) After these three lines, I don't know...O'Donnell deserves to play.. I was really disappointed with the defensive breakdowns...Forbert is a first rounder for pete's sake... Quote
tnt Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Knight-riders. Oh yeah, we don't have to change our nickname yet. Quote
