UND85 Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 A good start to the season. Hope they take it to the BAdgers next weekend. Quote
siouxnami Posted October 2, 2011 Author Posted October 2, 2011 MLK is good short hand, that isn't taken is it? Quote
dakotadan Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 It would have been great to see the ladies get the sweep. But it was good to see them step up today and come back strongly to get the slip! Quote
siouxnami Posted October 5, 2011 Author Posted October 5, 2011 The Wisconsin games are huge, the National Championship will go through Wisconsin. Last year they swept 5 games. If the Sioux can get 1 win at least it would show that in a 1 game series there is a chance. Quote
talksalot83 Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 I would be elated with split in Wisconsin, but I'm sure the ladies want a sweep. Quote
almostheavenin2011 Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 What is nice is the fact that they can beat Badgers. Before they never had a chance but now they can beat anyone on any given day. Quote
SiouxBetcha Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 Badgers 4 Sioux 1 with 5-minutes remaining in period 3. Quote
SiouxBetcha Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 Badgers 4 Sioux 1 with 5-minutes remaining in period 3. Make it 5-1 with under 3-minutes remaining in period 3. Quote

SiouxBetcha Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 Sioux score...5-2 with 1.30 remaining. And that's the game! Badgers with the 5-2 win over No. 6 North Dakota to open the weekend series! Regroup and get em tomorrow. Quote
siouxnami Posted October 8, 2011 Author Posted October 8, 2011 Looks like UND played with them for the first 40, score is not good, but the gap from last year has been closed some. Quote

siouxnami Posted October 10, 2011 Author Posted October 10, 2011 Well, we are 1-3 and 0-2 in the WCHA with nowhere to go but up. Good to see we can play with Wisconsin. This team will be much better 6 months from now. Quote

siouxnami Posted October 22, 2011 Author Posted October 22, 2011 Final 11-1 Sioux improve to 4-3 1-2 in the WCHA Quote
ticklethetwine Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 If the men keep playing uninspired hockey I may have to start going to more women's games. Guess the men could take a few pointers. Quote

With an announced attendance tonight of over 3000, seems there are a lot of people with those thoughts. Sioux averaging over 2400. Season should easily yield a record total home attendance. Quote
talksalot83 Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 Women's game tonight was fantastic and the attendance was really nice for a women's game. Quote
dakotadan Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 When I saw the score last night I thought it was a typo and was supposed to be a 1-1 tie. Nope. Amazing win by the ladies on Homecoming weekend. Finish off the sweep tonight. Quote
WiSioux Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 Very excited to watch the women's game on tv again tonight. It blows my mind that I can watch UND Women's Hockey live on tv in Michigan Let's go ladies! Quote

The trajectory is continuing to move in the right direction - and the schedule hasn't gotten to the rivalry games at home yet. Quote
