FSSD
Washington State and Wake Forest are just fortunate to be in conferences on the winning end of the sweepstakes, otherwise they would be the Baylors, Iowa States, and Kansas States that will end up being forced to the margins. Of course, the difference with Northwestern, Washington State, and Wake Forest is that those schools can collect a $20,000,000 check from their conference, and barely contribute a dime for it. UND would be ahead in attendance of almost all of the MAC, Sunbelt, and is ahead of all of the new WAC, as well as the bottom half of CUSA. Those schools really aren't any different than us, other than having football stadiums that seat 20,000 - 40,000 (and most often not filling them). Did that include women's hockey (24,000) and volleyball (7 k) for UND. Some of the schools have relatively significant attendance in baseball, gymnastics, volleyball, and lacrosse, and sometimes that info is hard to obtain. dakotadan
I have a feeling that we are going to see a pretty darn good bump in our basketball attendance this year. Just a hunch.

Some of the schools have relatively significant attendance in baseball, gymnastics, volleyball, and lacrosse, and sometimes that info is hard to obtain. Couple of notes with the data that I collected. - The NCAA had full data for the following sports: football, basketball-m, and hockey-m - The NCAA had full data minus transitional schools for basketball-w. So, UND and USD data is not included. - The NCAA only had top 50 for baseball - total values ranged from 394,900 (LSU) to 23,459 (Ohio St.) - The NCAA only had top 50 for softball - total values ranged from 63,271 (Alabama) to 3,058 (Portland St.) - The NCAA only had top 50 for Soccer - m - total values ranged from 70,471 (UC Santa Barbara) to 4,562 (Radford) - The NCAA only had top 50 for Soccer - w - total values ranged from 45,132 (Portland) to 4,601 (UCF) - The NCAA only had top 50 for Volley Ball - w - total values ranged from 123,382 (Hawaii) to 7,672 (Md. East Shore) NOTE: NDSU was 44th (12,826) - No data for Hockey - w Actually, I needed some data because I am reviewing data analysis software for my company and saw this thread and thought that I would use it as my core subject. Based on the chatter yesterday - I should have gathered the coaches poll data..
