MinnesotaNorthStar
He pointed that it was a goal, so it was a bad call overall. NorthStar, I put up some pictures for you in the other thread. It is really hard to get past that ugly M. Not if you look at them without their helmet on ...Nice pics Vanelli for Minnesota 6-2 Gophers now. redwing77
First period over. Unbelievably only 5 penalties in the first period. Blais arse chewing underway. Hit the post and missing the net. Welcome to last spring
sprig
Penalty on DU as Bidaman? Veideman, Murray's teammate at Salmon Arm last year.
jk
That's Adrian Viedeman, Brady Murray's linemate for much of last year at Salmon Arm. He was the captain there, and is a foward moved to D to early this year to compensate for Denver's injuries.

sioux fan in phoenix
Opinions anyone? Decent pressure but pi$$ poor when it comes to burying their chances? Did someone, like a Sioux player's ex-gf, put a curse on this team?
Fedorov
Not if you look at them without their helmet on ...Nice pics Most of the time you are going to see them wearing their helmets. We need to road trip it down there. I saw that they all sign autographs after their games.

mksioux
I know the Sioux had a lot of quality chances, but I think that was a terrible period IMO. Being snakebitten again is what I was most afraid of going into this weekend. After the Yale and Minnesota series I thought this team was different than last year, but last weekend and the 1st period tonight makes me wonder. Great chances...can't score...it's gettin old. Did someone, like a Sioux player's ex-gf, put a curse on this team? Story of that period was missing the net. Sioux had at least five shots from in the slot, as good as Denver's chance, and missed the net on all of them.

MinnesotaNorthStar
Final at Mariucci Gophers 6-2 Gophers and Huskies get into it after the horn sounds. Ballard is POG...seems to be fine as he just pulled Tallackson off a Tech player.
CoteauRinkRat
tech is a one line team with poor goaltending The Sioux need to start putting away some of their chances. They looked fine and gave up really nothing defensively, just need to capitalize on some of their opportunities.
CoteauRinkRat
Shattuck is tougher than UND, lol, I'm not even going to comment And professors want to help them out in any way they can
MinnesotaNorthStar
We need to start putting chances away....we could be up 3, 4-1 right now. Sounds as if that is the difference.
forecheck
Interview with Porter: TH mentions rekindling the Thunderbay pipeline. Porter knew the Hoogsteen bros and Greg Johnson. It's also a pipeline for denver. Basically a lot of boring talk about players coming from Shattuck and Thunderbay, and how Tom Ward isn't directing players to UND. Porter committed 2 years ago when Hakstol, a friend of his dad's, came down for a visit. Shattuck prepares players for college, and UND is actually almost easier than Shattuck for some of the guys. At Shattuck all they ddi was study and play hockey. "Since you've been in ND, what's struck you most that you weren't expecting?" Fan support. Everybody knows who you are, lives for hockey, there's nothing better than playing for the fans. They help out a lot. Porter thinks it's good for the team to get on the road. They're "Chomping at the bit" to see what they can do. Chris is trying to play his role as a power forward.
