Cratter Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 I am not so sure it will be voted on Monday. From the Fargo Forum: Senate Majority Leader Bob Stenehjem did not yet know when the bill would go to the floor for a final vote but did say it will not occur tomorrow. Quote
The Whistler Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 It seems that the vote has been pushed back because a number of our fearless leaders have decided to flee the country on a junket to Europe. Don't worry about them, between the taxpayers and the special corporate interests our leaders won't have to pay a dime. http://sayanythingblog.com/entry/north-dakota-officials-legislators-and-lobbyist-take-go-on-a-merry-jaunt-to-denmark-on-taxpayers-dime/ Quote
RobPort Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 Oh, and these fearless political leaders will get their full legislative pay the entire time they're gone too. 1 Quote

GoalieMask Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 http://www.grandforksherald.com/event/article/id/196203/ So maybe I'm the only one thinking about this but.....how is that all going to play out? Hakstol is stated all along that his "stance on the logo issue is clear" and left it at that.... but this is taking it to the next level. To be at the vortex of a public campaign (a campaign that your employer is against) is certainly interesting. I know that he, Roebuck, and some other coaches talked about their disappointment when the SBOHE first announced the decision. Anyone else feel there could be some reprimanding from the University as a result? Quote

He should get the same reprimand that Leigh Jeanotte got after disagreeing loudly and publicly with the SBoHE in Dec 2000. Oh, wait, ... that was ... none. Quote
Stinger_UND Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 It's now listed as being on Friday's lineup. http://www.grandforksherald.com/event/article/id/196317/ http://web.apps.state.nd.us/lcn/assembly/legss/public/floorcalendar.htm?chamber=Senate Quote
