PCM Posted October 16, 2003 Posted October 16, 2003 Based on what Blais said on the UND coaches show tonight, it sounds like Zach will play. Quote
CoteauRinkRat Posted October 16, 2003 Posted October 16, 2003 I hope they make this decision with their head, rather than with their hearts. Quote
southpaw Posted October 16, 2003 Posted October 16, 2003 Zach was beating everyone else in sprints during practice. I have a feeling they are making the decision based on his performance and if it were truly a legit injury, that he wouldn't be beating the likes of Murray and Fylling in speed tests. Quote
sioux fan in phoenix Posted October 16, 2003 Posted October 16, 2003 Surprised at his speedy recovery thus far; hope he doesn't aggravate it... Quote
Goon Posted October 16, 2003 Author Posted October 16, 2003 Remember Bucks Bochenski said that Zach will play he is a tough kid. I guess Zach wants to beat B.C. eh? Quote
skateshattrick Posted October 16, 2003 Posted October 16, 2003 I hope they make this decision with their head, rather than with their hearts. I'm sure the coaches are well aware of any potential risks, and if they had any doubts, they would consult you. Quote
redwing77 Posted October 17, 2003 Posted October 17, 2003 I still will question it if he does play. Donald Brashear of the Flyers sprained his MCL and he's out for 6 weeks. Something's up here. Quote
UMDDogz Posted October 17, 2003 Posted October 17, 2003 maybe it wasn't as seroius as they said initially...obviously, there's a difference between a strain and a sprain. Perhaps it was just semantics... Quote
MinnesotaNorthStar Posted October 17, 2003 Posted October 17, 2003 I still will question it if he does play. Donald Brashear of the Flyers sprained his MCL and he's out for 6 weeks. Something's up here. Yeah, but Brashear sucks. I agree though...something's amiss here. Quote

UND92,96 Posted October 17, 2003 Posted October 17, 2003 I'm not sure whether anyone has posted this yet or not, but Zach Parise is playing tonight according to Dean Blais at Sioux Boosters today. Quote
sprig Posted October 17, 2003 Posted October 17, 2003 Good to hear; hope he's at near 100%. Game is on TV out here, would hate to miss ZP. Quote
Goon Posted October 17, 2003 Author Posted October 17, 2003 I'm not sure whether anyone has posted this yet or not, but Zach Parise is playing tonight according to Dean Blais at Sioux Boosters today. Looks like Bochenski was pretty clued into what was going on. Last weekend when he made the comment in the post game on the radio. Zach is a strong kid he will be playing this weekend. Now I hope Zach has a nice series. Quote
