UND92,96 Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 10 SDSU 6 Minnesota early 2nd quarter SDSU doesn't have a first down yet, and threw an int inside the MN 10, but has managed to score 10 points thanks to defense and special teams. If MN loses, I think Brewster has to be canned--opening the door for Dale Lennon? Quote
UND92,96 Posted November 14, 2009 Author Posted November 14, 2009 13 Minnesota 10 SDSU MN with a defensive score. SDSU qb having a nightmare game. SDSU is pretty impressive on defense. Quote
UND92,96 Posted November 14, 2009 Author Posted November 14, 2009 13 SDSU 13 Minnesota 8:27 left in the 4th Quote
Westside Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 Man, Weber is terrible!!! This is a terrible offensive football game on both sides. I'd like to see the Bunnies pull this out though... their D is impressive. Quote
Westside Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 Ouch, SDSU's O'Brien fumbles Gophers with ball at SDSU 10. Quote
UND92,96 Posted November 14, 2009 Author Posted November 14, 2009 Ouch, SDSU's O'Brien fumbles Gophers with ball at SDSU 10. And it was an unforced fumble. SDSU's missed chip shot field goal in the third quarter is huge right now. Quote
UNDvince97-01 Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 Am I the only one who thinks the freshman QB should have been pulled after the 1st quarter? Maybe put the senior back in? While he has a very bright future, O'Brien has been awful for the most part today. Maybe I'm crazy. Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 I don't understand the SDSU play calling. In the 3rd, their running game was moving the ball 3-4 yards per carry. Then they get deep in the fourth and they throw, throw, throw. They didn't even try running when in four down territory. Doesn't make sense to me. Quote

I'd say by at least two scores. Quote
jimdahl Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 USD up on Cal Poly, 29-14 at the half. Quote
UND92,96 Posted November 15, 2009 Author Posted November 15, 2009 USD up on Cal Poly, 29-14 at the half. I think we provided the blueprint for beating Cal Poly--force them to pass, and wear their defense down with the running game. Assuming they finish this game off, USD turned things around pretty well in the last two weeks. Quote

Yote 53 Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 USD 50 - Cal Poly 48 FINAL It was a defensive struggle that came down to the end. Quote
