GeauxSioux
From Brad's blog....The final attendance numbers are out across the country and the WCHA dominated again. UND averaged a sellout in 2008-09, while Wisconsin, Minnesota, Colorado College, St. Cloud State and Denver all joined the Sioux in the top 10 nationally. 1 Wisconsin 22 303261 13784.6 (1)2 North Dakota 19 222655 11718.7 (2)3 Minnesota 22 220477 10021.7 (3)4 Michigan 19 127558 6713.6 (5)5 Colorado College 21 138039 6573.3 (4)6 Nebraska-Omaha 21 130428 6210.9 (6)7 St. Cloud State 18 107783 5987.9 (9)8 Boston College 17 101586 5975.6 (10)9 New Hampshire 18 104772 5820.7 (7)10 Denver 23 128882 5603.6 (8) I love these two tidbits... * UND drew more people to a Sunday exhibition game against a Canadian team (11,571) than five schools did for the entire season (Robert Morris, Mercyhurst, Bentley, Sacred Heart and American International). * If you cut UND's attendance in half, it still would make the top 10 in the country. mikejm
Wow! Big drop-off between third place and the rest there. Good example of just how small a universe college hockey is.

With Blais and likely the WCHA, UNO could be heading higher. For the first UNO-UND series in Omaha, the visiting Sioux fan numbers could be huge. Big A HG
With Blais and likely the WCHA, UNO could be heading higher. For the first UNO-UND series in Omaha, the visiting Sioux fan numbers WILL be huge. Fixed it for you
farce poobah
Its not out of the question that UNO's attendance passes UND and Minnesota. They have the building and the capacity. This is a great fit for the WCHA, if the deal can be arranged.
