71% on the 30 inch now. 74% on the 1 meter now. Now only if the Sioux could get about 74 this period.

Sioux signal is up again for tonights game (1/22/11) ......

Signal Quality here is at a steady 71 %

Lets hope for a better game tonight and a Sioux win.

Weak and unwatchable here...crap! (SW Minny Metro)

I would try a Blind scan........ it may just be enough to pull it in, maybe you have already tried : (

I just got an e-mail from a fan who has not been able to watch a game all season....... but for whatever reason he is watching right now!

already tried...and I know I'm on the right satellite based on previous broadcasts....my quality is at 33%; I need 36% to get a watchable picture...

Maybe try skewing the LNB? Rotate a tad to the left or right in its holder. That maybe enough to squeeze out a decent enough signal to watch?

The turbo boost must have just kicked in...I'm now getting 37% and a good pic!!

Quality dropped in 3rd period...unwatchable...anyone else experience that?

Thankfully was able to watch the end on Comcast...(ugh!)

Yes I seen the drop, I was helping a fan on the phone and it became clear then that we were wasting our time : (

Went back to the fluctuating 64-69@ Quality.

Indeed : )

100% turn around from last night, who knows what that was all about? I feared for the worst when they scored short handed, but it turned out well in the end.

Here are a few pictures of the dish used to up-link the Sioux signal, thanks Jamie : )

Western ND KXNET (CBS) will switch to local news HD this week, Bismarck/Dickinson started this week, Minot/Williston will go HD in the local studio on Sunday. These are the first local newscasts to go HD in North Dakota. Would expect WDAZ/WDAY would have to at least get to HD local news before extending that to the FSSN.

Think we'll see it next year?

I'd guess all local news will go HD in the next year or so, but how that translates into WDAZ delivering HD from the ralph is anyone's guess. WDAZ would need an HD truck with HD equipment at theralph, plus some added bandwidth on satellite would need to be purchased.

I'm surprised that a local network in western ND has beaten the local affiliates in eastern ND to the punch for local newscasts.
