siouxforce19 Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 duluth must do drills on how best to drag a guy down or obstruct him in any way possible I'd bet money on it.
nodak hockey fanatic Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 0-5 now on the pp... not alot of jump in the skates tonight
Windsor Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 I don't think our PP could score 5 on 0 because we wouldn't shoot the puck.
farce poobah Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 Excellent shift by DUncan VV ... just before halftime. Sioux jump looks better, even though the PP is still not good.
farce poobah Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 Teams exchange great chances during the 4x4. Sharp right in front for UMD, Duncan for UND. Both stoned.
Trunk Monkey Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 Sioux look slow just like most of the year. This is not Sioux hockey that I am use to.
Windsor Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 I don't know if I have ever seen Hak argue so many calls
keikla Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 I don't know if I have ever seen Hak argue so many calls Right in the middle of decent Sioux pressure, they blow the whistle while the puck is still half a foot in front of Stalock. I'd be arguing that one as well.
farce poobah Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 Sioux looking better each shift, but its still 0-1. 3 minutes left in 2nd.
passit_offthegoalie Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 idiots guide to scoring in 2 easy steps: shoot low, get rebounds.
nodak hockey fanatic Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 sioux have looked a little better this period, but still can't finish. i don't get it, we've got plenty of guys who can score.
nodak hockey fanatic Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 bulldogs goal. 2-0. one sioux fell causing a 2-1, marto didn't take the pass away. this is looking ugly.
farce poobah Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 Ridiculously bad defending there, both by Miller and then by Marto. We really need Finley.
keikla Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 I never played defense, but I thought you were supposed to eliminate the pass and let the goalie focus on the shooter. If that's the case, Marto botched that one
Sioux_Hab-it Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 They do miss Finley, as there seems to be no leadership from the other upper classmen on this team.
TCSIOUXFAN Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 Ditto! aaarrrgghhh!!!! At least DU is ahead....
TCSIOUXFAN Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 We play to the competition obviously. The Dogs are not bad, but we have WAY more talent, and we play down. The Sioux should have had the first goal when Kozek shot instaead of passed on a 2 on 1..(PER 1)...The kid has talent, but he cant keep playiing like such a meathead......Different game if we are up 1-0 at that point.
Trunk Monkey Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 Little heart on this team...anyone....anyone....
seeboys Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 PP for the sioux, really need to get something going
Tsiouxnami Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 This is rather painful to watch. Someone. . . anyone (FROM THE SIOUX). . . . score a flippin' goal!
TCSIOUXFAN Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 Come on .......You dont have to stand tall, but you do HAVE TO STAND UP!!!!!
Windsor Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 Granted we don't have the big names like Oshie or J. Toews around this year, I never would have thought that this team would be so offensively challenged.
