bincitysioux
Softball Coach Sami Strinz was on Sioux Sports Extra tonight. She mentioned that they do play a few fall games. South Dakota St. was one of them. And a home game in early October as well. She said the team will have a 56 game schedule this season and 50 of them will be against DI teams. GeauxSioux
0-4, but it looks as though they played better as they went along or was the competition get worse as they went along.
GeauxSioux
Sioux hold off UMKC, 5-4, to nab first DI victoryDown by one run with two outs and runners on first and third, the UMKC (5-11) scoring was cutoff as UND (1-4) freshman pitcher Erica Younan (Chico, Calif.) tossed her ninth strikeout of the game. Younan (1-1) threw the first complete game of her collegiate career where she gave up just four runs, six hits, and two walks. She tallied all three outs in the third inning on Ks. jimdahl
Like what? pretty cryptic post. Sorry to be a buzzkill, but it's probably time for a reminder that unsubstantiated rumors that are potentially defaming aren't allowed (see forum terms and rules above). ForTheRoad
Sorry. A few PM's indicate others are interested as well. I'll keep it off the public messageboard. There isn't much that's unsubstantiated unfortunately as the information is coming from the players.

Wait a minute, I thought the Badgers wouldn't play the Sioux due to the nickname issue if they weren't in the same conference together. Nice job on the split ladies. Nice job on the split ladies. Wisconsin and Iowa lifted their ban on UND after we reached the settlement with the NCAA. Minnesota is the only one who didn't.
