Shawn-O
He and Melrose did the Frozen Four last year. That's right! His call on Oshie's shorty* against BC was classic. *would have gone down as one of the all-time great goals had they won.
Old Barn Guy at Home
From what I have seen and heard of Bob Norton, I have come to the conclusion that he would be best described as a giant tub of $hit. What an east-coast cheerleader. It would have been fun to hear him do the color with Mazocco doing the play-by-play in that game yesterday. I didn't hear him make the comment on the Sioux losing to Holy Cross, but that doesn't surprise me one bit. What a know-nothing "know it all." Mentioning Holy Cross: Does anyone have an explanation of why they had the Holy Cross advertising on the boards in opposite end corners at the Worster, Mass. rink? The only other banners on the boards were those of the four teams involved in that region's tournament. My wife and I were wondering how that made the Gophers feel ever time they looked at those ads on the boards.
yzerman19
Posted earlier, but Holy Cross is in Worcester and was the "host" school.
Old Barn Guy at Home
Thanks for the Holy Cross info. I figured that it was something like that, but that rink seemed to be pretty large for a school like Holy Cross.
Shawn-O
Woog would be much better in the Bob Norton chair.
Goon
Woog would be much better in the Bob Norton chair. I agree with that. Norton is the HE version of the RUG...
Oxbow6
Posted earlier, but Holy Cross is in Worcester and was the "host" school. Really and the NCAA couldn't find a way to get them into the tourney unlike...
