AZSIOUX Posted March 2, 2008 Share Posted March 2, 2008 The Sioux are coming off a sweep of Duluth at the DECC which extends their unbeaten streak to 15 games. The school record is 16 games. St Cloud comes in Grand Forks splitting at home with UW. The Sioux lost Evan Trupp to a leg injury Saturday and Chay Genoway as well after getting checked from behind on Sunday. Trupp will be out but not sure on Genoways injury yet. Get well soon to both of the guys! The Sioux are 2 points back of CC for the top spot. CC has a home and home with DU to finish their regular season. I was thinking about a statement by big HG and we was talking about a loss, UND rolling right now but I would rather see the Sioux lose this week or during the final five than during the Regioal or Frozen Four. CC and UND are Number 1 seeds. Denver and St Cloud are Number 2 seeds. Minnesota sneaks in as a Number 4 seed unless Mankato can actually beat Minnesota if they do Mankato is in.
