sioux7>5 Posted March 2, 2008 Posted March 2, 2008 He also doesn't argue about calls when they are good calls. The trip on Meyers was NOT a trip, it was a CHECK and the player fell over. Bruce is funny and he is HARDLY the first person to make a comment about Duncan's height. He is also very complimentary of Oshie. I'd rather have a homer announcer than one who doesn't care. I will agree with that last statement.
Runninwiththedogs Posted March 2, 2008 Posted March 2, 2008 I will agree with that last statement. Bruce is also very sarcastic, as you'll notice from the "Oshie fell down, I'm surprised there wasn't a penalty" comment.
mikeypat15 Posted March 2, 2008 Posted March 2, 2008 Penalties right now ruining the game, I feel a ton of calls that aren't penalties and a ton of make up calls.
AZSIOUX Posted March 2, 2008 Author Posted March 2, 2008 man we are hitting. weird flow to the game. good ol sunday afternoon game...... get 1 goal and that may do it. joe finley is dong his matt greene imitation today..love it!
Upper Deck Posted March 2, 2008 Posted March 2, 2008 The Sioux haven't had a very "good" game for a while, playing just good enough to win. That's fine, but things are only going to get more difficult here on out. Let's go PP!
Tsiouxnami Posted March 2, 2008 Posted March 2, 2008 Yeah, you can use S-Video, or your VGA (monitor out) if your TV has a VGA In. Thank you to both Bob and Sprig. I got it figured out and am watching it on tv. Pretty SWEET! Thanks again!
brianvf Posted March 2, 2008 Posted March 2, 2008 what is up with dumping and icing when we are on the pp? Hard to skate it in the zone when the opponent is clogging the neutral area and with the shortened neutral zone.
Runninwiththedogs Posted March 2, 2008 Posted March 2, 2008 i feel the UMD forecheck is very strong today Thanks, Obi-Wan.
soohockey15 Posted March 2, 2008 Posted March 2, 2008 Good lord Lapointe is AWFUL. Why he continues to play is beyond me.
nd jg Posted March 2, 2008 Posted March 2, 2008 Hard to skate it in the zone when the opponent is clogging the neutral area and with the shortened neutral zone. just noticed that mcknoght only got a misconduct and not a 2 min penalty
siouxforeverbaby Posted March 2, 2008 Posted March 2, 2008 Good lord Lapointe is AWFUL. Why he continues to play is beyond me. I am sure that Hak has some reason for continuing to play LaPoint that we are not aware of.
redwing77 Posted March 2, 2008 Posted March 2, 2008 Penalties right now ruining the game, I feel a ton of calls that aren't penalties and a ton of make up calls. Not really. LaPoint, Martens, and Chorney's penalties were legit.

Sioux_Hab-it Posted March 2, 2008 Posted March 2, 2008 If Sweeney is reading the forum the Miramichi is pronounced Mirror a Mish EEE.
seeboys Posted March 2, 2008 Posted March 2, 2008 Stalock with a huge save, Nice chance for the sioux!
redwing77 Posted March 2, 2008 Posted March 2, 2008 Nice save by Stalock. That's the best offensive outburst I've seen all game.
wsdSIOUXfalls Posted March 2, 2008 Posted March 2, 2008 Let's take a goal into the locker room! GO SIOUX!!!
Siouxtimestwo Posted March 2, 2008 Posted March 2, 2008 I have a question related to the game and the rink size at the DECC. Are there lots of rinks that are smaller like this one? I've wondered this for years, but never thought to ask here. It just floors me that teams play on different size rinks at the D1 level. Imagine if the rims were higher from one teams gym to the next or a fooball field was 10 yards shorter.
